im pretty sure the OP just pumps up uconn recruits.

never seen the kid play but he has a similar story as embiid. african soccer player who outgrew the sport and picked up basketball a couple of yrs ago. tools aren't as jaw dropping as embiid's but he's a tall, natural athlete who's seemingly picked up the game quickly. was also a pretty good high jumper in HS.

He has pretty decent coordination, quickness and agility for a guy his size. Get's off the floor pretty fast too. Really good motor and gets up and down the floor well also. His length is impressive and he has no neck, so his listed size of 6-10 or 6-11 doesn't do justice to his measurements. He's more like a really long 7-1 guy. And he looks a lot better than Thabeet did coming in as well.

His hands aren't great, we'll see if that improves. He's gotten into a little bit of foul trouble so far, but it's early. He's a good prospect, but he still has a fair amount of weight to put on and needs to play in a lot more games...

^ Agree I believe he has a 7'6 wingspan also. He's very raw right now, going to take him a few years to be NBA ready. Doesn't catch the ball consistently, more than once yesterday he got a good pass under the hoop but lost it. But he has great shot blocking instincts and timing, 5 a game so far. Only 2 games in but his rebounding hasn't been good, he's gotta learn to box out. But those are things that he should improve on the next couple seasons.

His form at the FT line isn't too bad either, don't see why he can't eventually develop a 12-15 foot jumpshot

Watch out for this kid.
He's raw, but his body is amazing, he needs to fill out but his wingspan is monstrous and he runs the court fast, like really fast, he is all legs, powerful legs.
He is also an energizer, like Marcus Lee for UK, you notice him when he plays.
He's around 6'11 I believe, if he can get to 240 by 2015,...

Interesting prospect for sure, he has a long way to go yet...maybe 2016 Draft. I guess 2015 possible if he really progresses. Thanks to the OP for sharing. I will continue to watch :)

Should note that he was playing against undersized PFs in that game. tallest UCF player with real minutes was 6'8"

UCF is a top notch rebounding team. When a 6-11 foot athletic player with a 7-6 wingspan can go for those numbers against good competition in only 20 minutes people take notice. I still maintain that by next year he will be a top 3 pick. I hope he stays 3 but his body type is a high level commodity in the NBA. Hes going to be able to hit that mid range jumpshot too--you can see his soft form.

yeah people are taking notice I am sure but calling UCF a good rebounding team may be stretch. yes they are ranked high thus far but also you have to account for the teams the schedule. They out rebounded Louisville only because Louisville made shots and UCF did not.

Right now I'd say in 2015 end of the lottery, 2016 could be top 10. Thats just for now though, but there's much more polished bigs coming out in the next few years

No he needs to put on 20 pounds up top and learn many variances of the game. It would be a horrific mistake--and I do not think NBA teams would take him now that high--and Im the OP on this thread!!!:) He can be great--I know first hand hes a great worker unique body but hes going to take some time--atleast 18 months of playing training and gaining experience. He would not even step on an NBA floor right now. He might have a few of these games this year--enough to get noticed for the following years--but I fully expect him to have many 3 point 4 rebound 3 block 5 foul games this year left in him. He needs work but this was a glimpse of his incredible upside.
