In reality, I expect Markieff's current numbers to drop and become a 14 & 7 guy. In that case I think we should be able to retain him for somewhere around $5M-$7M per season.
Apologies... I meant to type vet min. Markieff's numbers should be better than he was last year. He's just begun to turn the corner. He's been consistent for the past 4 games now, and has seen the improvements made to his game. Teams will factor him into their game plans more now, but I don't see his numbers going down all that drastically. I'm thinking 19 or 20 ppg and 8-9 rbs.
Marcus will get significantly less than his brother unless he shows the progression Markieff has. He's already stated how happy he is for Markieff, which showed no jealousy on his part. Don't think he'd be all that upset making less than his brother to stay on a team with him.
