Unless were getting 2 top 5 picks that ain't gonna happen cause they'll both be gone fast but I really like that trade!

I was thinking trade Wall to Jazz for first rounder and pieces. Take Randle with that pick and either take Exum or Smart with our pick since it will be low.
And sign Monroe in offseason. Then 2016 we have a go at Durant.

Exum
Beal
Durant
Randle
Monroe

Monroe would make watching them so much more bearable. I really like his post moves.

ughhh this team sucks again! I dont know why we ever thought otherwise...any talk of playoffs is flat out crazy.

Wall is not elite
Beal is undersized
Gortat is a backup
Nene is done
Porter is a bust

The GM job for the Wizards must be a great gig because you can pretty much fail misserably for years and never have any consequense. Why on earth does Grunfeld still have a job!!!!!!!!! Fire his lame ass NOW!!!!

Randt Whitman is not an NBA head coach. Fire his ass NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who are we going to beat in this league? We cant beat Philly, we have Brooklyn and OKC coming up so well be 0-6

Otto Porter where the F are you!!!!???

I don't think this team will be good enough to make the playoffs this season but I also don't think we are one of the 5 worst teams in the league. I see us falling within the 8 to 10 lottery range. By mid-season if we are not squarely in the playoff hunt we really need to tank and tank hard. If that means your best players suffering mysterious injuries and sitting out the rest of the season so be it. Getting a top 3 pick in this draft would mean the difference between us becoming contenders down the road or becoming the Bucks.

Wiggins v Parker tonight at 8:30 on ESPN. A glimpse at the NBA's future or 2 good but overrated prospects? It's a big game to start formulating opinions.

This is the biggest matchup of draft prospects since Lebron played Melo back in HS in 2002.

Julius Randle is a beast. He looks like #1 type material. I see the CWebb comparisons, looks to have a little more edge tho. Insane athlete for his size. Can play both ends of the floor. Face up & back to the basket game. There's a lot to love.

Wiggins is laser quick. His athleticism stands out on TV, I see what the scouts are talking about in terms of his overall potential. The sky is the limit. Parker is silky smooth, not sure of his limits yet. Stroke looks like butter. Selden has elite body control and I really like his feel for the game. Embiid looks like an interesting project.

I'm down with us tanking hard, resigning my favorite Marcin, trading Ariza for a future pick, drafting Randle, Wiggins or Parker, firing Pringles and Wittless, taking out a contract on Maynor...

And letting this long nightmare end.

Jabari Parker is a pretty good all round player...thought he was just a scorer...they are all living up to the hype so far...and I'm pretty sure I spotted EG in the crowd for Duke vs Kansas.

Kind of depressing that this draft may end up having more franchise level prospects than the previous three combined, of course those three occurred when we were bottom of the barrel. Makes you kind of sick to realize that once again, this team couldn't even get tanking right.

Otoh, I like the prospects available all the way down to 15 or so. We'd get a piece if we kept our pick, otherwise the suns get it.

It's Parker and Randle, 1A and 1B for me.

Wiggins is third. Parker has that takeover mentality that Wiggins lacks. Randle is just a beast down low, just needs to get stronger.

Yeah, he's got an edge to him, though he's not the physical specimin that Webber was, and he's very sloppy on defense and sometimes on offense. He is determined to score and has a lot of ways to do it. Is he going to be a team player?

I kinda like Parker more, because hes a smarter player - but is he growing out of the 3 and becoming a tweener? Tweener or not, he's awfully good and doesn't get out of control. Maybe he doesn't have Randle's upside, but I'd rather have Parker.

Wiggins has everything you want in a small forward and can play inside, but I wish he was a little more energetic.

My preference is Parker, then Wiggins, then Randle.

The Harrison twins - not as impressive as their press clippings. They're clearly physically gifted, but I think they'd be better off as WR's in football.

Time for Wall and Nene to go down with "injuries" and trade Ariza.

Get a top-3 pick, sign a nice free agent (Monroe, Bosh, Gasol, etc). Re-sign Gortat to 7-8mil per year.

Wall
Beal
Porter
Randall(or Parker)
Monroe

Webster, Gortat and the first rounder we got for Ariza coming off the bench

Bam.

Jabari Parker = Durant lite...kid can be something special...but as usual Wiggins ends up on the winning team, every time they play.

Parker would be a PERFECT fit next to Wall/Beal. (Otto can be a 6th man type)

I'm torn. I kinda want to give all the vets away and sneak tank when no one else is expecting it for Parker. I only would tank for two players in this draft and there's no guarantee to get them.
New York would probably do a trade for nene. They are doing for a big and he had played with melo. Don't see much they can give us back though. Wolves or lakers would do an ariza trade and the flotsam need to be shed in the off season.

And sonny Carson. That's a sneaky cute girl

Teams that get to draft studs stink too long. I would rather see Washington trade for Boogie Cousins.

Drafting a Jae Crowder or Nate Wolters or DeJuan Blair or Jimmy Butler onto s winning Wizards team--like a team with a rebounder like Cousins and with Washington already has on the wings could win-- is what I would like to see.

Winning teams still figure ways to trade to draft guys like Kawhi Leonard.

You need to crawl before you walk. San Antonio may draft well but the bulk of their success isn't in Kwahi Leonard, Deuan Blair, or Danny Green. You need a Tim Duncan to win. Outside of the 2004 Pistons* if you look at the championship teams, every single one of them had at least 1 guy on the squad who's transcendent. Multiple all-team 1st NBA type guys. 1st ballot HOF guys. Top 5 all-time at their position guys. Wonderfully constructed teams is a bonus but if you don't have that blue chipper, you can get all the value you want out of the 2nd round but you aren't winning squat.

There's a difference between drafting Kyrie Irving, John Wall, or Yao Ming vs drafting a Lebron, Dwight, or Duncan. Not all draft studs are created equally. And based on the performances last night, the big 3 PF's look like they belong in the latter rather than the former.

*The pistons made up for it by having multiple all-stars, a deep bench, and Larry Brown.
