The Nuggets are secretly going into tank mode

Shumpert's career will likely fade into obscurity now that he isn't under the watchful eye of New York media where they overhype everything, good or bad

Shump's not going to do anything too much more than what Randy Foye is doing in Denver. They are essentially the same player, just Foye has been more productive throughout his lenghthier career

We haven't seen what Shump can do yet, with a more prominent role and where he isn't playing in an offensive system that goes 90% Melo - iso. It's a rebuilding year for the Nuggz, so i would imagine the environment there would be less tight and more free reign in terms of letting young players develop which should benefit Shump.

And Shump is a superior defender to Foye. That alone makes him not only different, but much better.

I agree with you there. Shumpert is superior defensively to Foye, but he isn't going to "go off in Denver" unless you consider 15 points per game tops going off. Shumpert isn't that great of a playmaker or shot creator. He's just a talented combo guard that could be a decent glue guy for the right team. He will get exposed if a team ever put him in position to be a go-to guy, like a 1st or 2nd option

Kemba + Portland's first for Ty Lawson. Add fillers to make it work.
Humble yourself.

And I think we could offer a better deal for the Manimal.

Henderson would be a better deal than Shumpert for Faried, but that's where finances would get in the way. Charlotte doesn't have a low market priced player with upside that they are willing to part with that could help them land Faried. I'm honestly surprised that Denver entertained it until I seen their logjam at the PF position

Kemba is already as good as Lawson, younger, and cheaper as well. I wouldn't trade the two straight up.

He's not getting the opportunities in NY.

As for not being a good shot creator, he's no Durant or Kobe, but he's not that bad or average either. He's more than capable of creating his own offense off the dribble and with a bigger role/opportunity in Denver he should improve on that. This is all based on Shump's true potential and the player he will likely become in Denver. If you're taking "go off" in a literal sense - 25ppg scorer than you misunderstood me.

Eh, I'm inclined to think Shump is a product of the NY hype machine, I'd take Faried over him 10 times out of 10.

I would absolutely take Faried. NY would have to give another player in order to make this a fair deal. Shumpert is very overhyped. I'm not convinced he'll ever be better than Henderson.

The Cavs are horrible. I wonder if Stern/Silver have enough sympathy for that franchise to grant them yet another #1 overall pick

They'd probably reach for LeBryan Nash. Lebron, Bryant, and Nash in one. Who can resist?

They need to make a rule that you should only get a #1 pick so many times during a certain span. They very well could get lucky and get the #1 pick this year and that would be ridiculous.

It makes me very happy to see Jonas Val struggle this year. Hes been horrible.

I haven't watched Drummond much, but just by lurking on the Detroit boards he hasn't lived up to their expectations, which is insane since I think hes doing just fine.

It would be hard for them to screw up in this upcoming draft unless they decide to take LeBryan Nash's teammate, Marcus Smart, whom I believe will be a good player in the NBA, but his progress will be stalled beyond repair playing alongside Kyrie Irving

HOU-PHI an interesting boxscore.
No Harden for HOU.
Asik only 4 minutes? He must be pissed. He's so outta there.
I'm a big Lin fan.
Does Sam Hinkie have a unerring eye for talent or what?
HOU and PHI with the same record! Ha ha, take that Dwight.

He's doing about as well as a guy that plays with Jennings and J-Smoove can do, especially since they don't run any plays for him.
