Those are from the first exhibition game against Pitt State. KU played Fort Hayes State this past Tuesday.

Wiggins has actually impressed me more than I expected. He's looked both faster off the dribble and more vertically special than in the McDonalds/Jordans/etc. games. The best since Lebron talk is clearly a bit silly, but he's an excellent prospect

Watch the play with 12:21 left in 2nd half. He gets to the basket from 30 feet in 2 dribbles and 5 steps. That's not going in a straight line either. There are only a few players in the world that could make that move and 2 of them are the 2 best players in the NBA (LeBron and Durant). Those moves along with his solid skill set and already good defense are the reasons he's #1 draft prospect. I hope we continue to see more of the potential. I think he had a tremendous first official debut.

I think tonight kinda solidified him for the near future. Not that he played better than Parker or Randle, but he just looked like the best NBA prospect out of the 3.

Agreed.
Parker looked great, but there are legitimate tweener concerns there. I think I have them ranked
1. Wiggins
2. Randle
3. Parker.

It's too early to make predictions. Let them play a solid number of games first ffs.

In what way? He didn't do much of anything all night. With the exception of a step back jumper in the second he didn't really create any of his looks. Parker was the FAR more impressive player last night. It really wasn't even close.

In what way? Wiggins is hyped because of his athletic ability. He displayed it last night. 22/10 in 25 minutes. Won the game. Iced the game. He was the number one pick before the game and did nothing to lose that ranking.

Re: Andrew Wiggins is not a lock at #1?
The Wiggins' hype did get a little out of hand, but now I think media will pull the reins back a little on the "best since Lebron" comparisons. I thought he did some things well, and he evidenced once again how lethal his speed and athleticism can be. My early impressions of him are Vince Carter.
I love Parker. That kid can play. A Paul Pierce with a better attitude.
Randle and Z-Bo seem like good comparisons early on.

Just rewatched Duke-Kansas tracking Wiggins. What struck me was the ease with which he beat his man to the glass for potential offensive rebounds. His defensive reaction time also impressive. Lateral quickness may be his true gift and advantage over Parker and Randle. Wiggins will be able to guard 3-4 positions, Parker will struggle with SFs.

The reality is Parker would go #1 if Utah gets the 1st pick other than that it will be Wiggins.

no, the reality is that the race for the #1 spot is more open than you realize

^^^ this
Watching footage from KU practices/drills has been shocking to me. His top-end potential is pretty amazing, maybe a Duncan-like defensive anchor with the offensive game of Aldridge.
I continue to grow more and more impressed with Embiid. This guy is going to be the #1 pick in the draft and will end up being the most important player taken. Before tonight I was thinking that Wiggins would go 1st and Embiid 2nd, but I'm bumping Embiid up to #1 now.
People are going to look at his boxscore tonight and see the 16p/13r/2b line he put up (on 7/7 shooting) and be impressed...but the most impressive stuff isn't in the statline.
Embiid is a very intelligent, high IQ player with a great attitude toward self-improvement. And a 7'5" wingspan. (for reference, Hibbert's is 'only' 7'4")
Twice tonight he rebounded the ball, outletted it in about a tenth of a second, and took off sprinting down the court before anyone else even moved. You can already tell he's mentally superior to most players, and when he gets a lot of experience, will consistently be a mental step or two ahead of the competition.
A couple times he showed impressive vision and patience. He's good at looking for cutters and hitting them. He's going to be an exceptional passer.
A couple of times he put the ball on the floor, and both times finished successfully. On one he did a sort of Euro side-step with a nifty finish, another was a sort of reverse layup.
An alley-oop was thrown for him that was a bit off, but no worries...when you've got arms that are 12 feet long and are getting 2' over the rim, you just grab it out of the neighboring airspace and dunk it anyway.
He's got touch and feel.
He's coordinated.
He appreciates and understands the value of defense, and wants to be a great defender.
And he's only been playing 3 years.
He's like a cross between Hibbert and Hakeem. Imagine the length of Hibbert with the brain of Hakeem.
I think GM's and scouts are going to get higher and higher on him throughout the year, culminating with him being the #1 pick.
He's going to be the best center in the NBA in 5 years, the type of 2-way player that can be a cornerstone for multiple championship runs.
