Faried was getting hyped up all last year but I tell ya Jordan Hill is a name to watch out for. He's got the same motor and nose for the ball like Faried does but has 4 inches on him, is a better defender, and has a better low post game. Hopefully we can lock him up at a reasonable price this summer.

I'd honestly thought about the Spurs 97' situation vs ours

Had some yrs before that in which they were competitive but couldn't get past the hump......same with us the past 3 yrs
Had an aging franchise player(not as old as Kobe tho) who missed almost the entire season....Kobe won't miss nearly as much as that but still
Basically they sucked ass for 1 season only and lucked out on Duncan.....Wiggins,Randle,Parker anyone?
After that they rode the coattails of the young guy with the veteran coming back(D-Rob/Kobe?)and being a big part of the team for a few more years.....4 championships in 10 yrs, never looked back

Some similarities, while keeping the proportions in check......and if the end result was the same I don't think anyone would have anything to say

should we try and sell high given that Hill's trade value is likely skyrocketed? I wonder what we would be offered for Hill? I would hate to do so but his value is really high right now and could be worth the risk given his injuries in the past.

Well I'm officially done making gameday threads.....atleast up until we play the Jazz or Kings, at home, and not on a back to back.

hill averaging 18/16 per 36minutes this year. Really the only true bright spot so far for this team. Just hope he can stay healthy this year
