Martin sure is the better scorer and I agree 20 ppg is a guarantee almost every game, if you're gunning for points, then he's your man.

But Korver is currently better at anything else: FG, FT, Rebs, Asts, Stls, and Blks. And Korver is just 0.1 below Martin's 3PTM. If you need help at these cats other than points, i'd go Korver in a heartbeat.

what? you could not be more wrong about korver. hes played 30+ mpg since going to Atlanta and theres no threat to anyone taking minutes from him. hes averaging 35mpg right now, i really have no idea what youre talking about.

also KMart is a beast right now. He is raining threes and putting up huge scoring numbers and as usual is a beast for FT%. whats mildly surprising is hes averaging 1.4 steals right now, maybe rubio is rubbing off on him. he used to average 1+ steal so he has the potential to keep it up. only thing that will stop kmart from having a monster year is injuries, which are really possible because hes very fragile.

nah youre off, korver is not close in ft%. Korver gets 0.8 ft/g while Kmart is averaging 6.1 ft/g, thats gigantic. also the point difference is pretty big, 14.3 to 23.9 in favor of kmart. they'll be even in steals by the end of the year and the blocks are negligible, neither is getting much of them.

when things normalize, korver is going to take a waaaaay bigger hit because there is no way he can sustain 58% shooting all year. meanwhile kmart has always been an amazing ft shooter and that will only go down by 1-2%. the difference in 1-2 rebounds and assists wont be enough to give korver the edge. we've seen kmart put up these kind of numbers before with adelman, so we know hes capable of doing it in this system, hes pretty much always the second option behind love. kmart has a huge advantage in points and ft%, korver will have a slight advantage in rebounds, assists and steals. fg% will probably be a tossup at the end of the year.

the only thing that would stop me from taking kmart really easily is injuries, but id still gamble on him.

Standard 12 team Yahoo 9 cat League.

Thinking of dropping Grevis for either Blake or Beverley.

Should I do it? And if so, Blake or Beverley?

Thanks

I just dropped shumpert for Jordan Crawford. I felt shumpert wasn't doing jack s*** for me. Pick up Butler. Someome dropped Grevis in my league I'm thinking about picking him up. My only PG rotations are Rose, Nelson, and now Crawford. If Grevis comes out of his slump and I Have a chance to steal him that would be great I'm really low in assists.

Is Nate Wolters a good add? I'm thinking of dropping someone like Danny Granger for him.

Tyreke has been playing pretty bad, but I think he will get his act together.

definitely dont drop either of those players for tyreke. i know JVal has started slowly but he has tremendous potential. rudy gay, derozan and lowry are taking all the shots and not feeding him, so if they finally get rid of one of them then he will explode imo.

tyreke has really limited value, unless gordon gets hurt which is always possible, hes gonna be pretty mediocre. butler will at least get you tons of steals and occasional threes no matter what.

no reason to own granger in any league, pick up any warm body. i dont know much about wolters but his stats look okay. with knight hurt again he could be decent.

Of the 5 here, which 2 should I get? In need of 3's, Assists, Steals, and Minor need for Points

Jordan Crawford, Calderon, Greivis, Gary Neal, Dragic

I would go with Calderon or Crawford, but when Rondo comes back his minutes will take a dip.

wtf dragic is available in your league? take him right now. easily the best player of these guys. calderon after him, monta has been taking some of his minutes but hes still their best true pg.

Nah, I got Dragic, Calderon and Crawford on my team. I'm debating whether I should pickup Neal/Greivis and drop Calderon. What do you think?

In a 14 team league and I was shocked to see Terrence Jones still available a week ago. I picked him up and he's really boosted my blocks and rebounds for me.

The Official Waiver Wire Thread

Post#320 » by TheAnswer43 » Sun Nov 17, 2013 1:35 pm

Hello everybody.. I need some advice..

So, this is my team :
PG- lillard,ellis,kemba walker, calderon
SG- kevin martin, korver
SF- lebron, parsons
PF- aldridge, lee, favors
C- big al, anthony davis

I need more rebounds, blocks and assists..
I offered my friend Davis for Cp3 but he rejected. Should I offer him davis and calderon for cp?

I really want a good point guard that gets many assists because lillard, ellis, kemba aren't assisting that much.
If you have any advice on how can I get cp3 that would be awesome.

And yeah, Ersan Illyasova is a FA in my league, should I sign him? If yes, who should I drop?

Edit: friend offered me evan turner for korver? Personally I think that i dont need Turner and I think that I will lose too much fg%,ft% and 3pts..
I want to hear your opinion..

Cheers ! :))
