He's a selfish blackhole who ruined Andre Drummond's college career. Don't let stats fool you.

I love 'Bazz but no, especially not in this draft. Early/Mid 2nd round at best is probably where he goes

Shabazz isn't close to being a top 10 pick like the OP suggested, but the Shabazz from his sophomore year(in which he played with a stress reaction in one his feet for the majority of the year) is like night and day from the Shabazz from last year and now the start of this year. Its clear you haven't watched him since then.

Well at least he hasn't stolen laptops like 2 of the last 3 points drafted from his school.

I like him as a 3rd guard instant offense type player - just wish he was a little bigger.

Hes pretty big in person--maybe 6.05 190

He almost had a triple double in 20 minutes tonight-- Boatright too. IUf they played more minutes it wouldve been 2 players with triple doubles.

Look how quick Indiana is and they had no chance in containing him. Hes stronger and quicker than people think and he can kill you with the J . Hes a late lottery to to late teens pick type PG.

Late 1st/early 2nd round seems fitting for him. I'm shocked at how much more poised he is this year. Good player.

Here are Shabazz Napier highlights from UConn's win over Florida earlier this week.

He does whatever his team needs to win. The team struggles to rebound? He averages 7.0 rebounds per game as a 6'1" PG. He leads the team in points, rebounds, assists, and steals while shooting 57% from 3.

Even though he's not big and doesn't have elite athleticism, he has some CP3 elements to his game where he plays with poise and it always feels like he has complete control over the game. If you look at the video above, all of his points come when his team is trailing or tied. 26 points all when his team needed him most.

I think it's time he starts getting talked about as a lottery pick.

Dude, kicks his legs out on all of his shots and tends to fade away. As for the legs, could be a non-issue in the NBA but could also hurt or help him. Could get him plenty of And1's OR no calls/offensive calls (rarely happens) and him getting injured. Don't know if I like it. Fading on shots is rarely ever high %age, not ideal.

Just recently checked this video out without having previously seen a lot of Bazz. Reminds me of Kemba in terms of shiftiness, doesn't seem to attack the rack or finish as effectively as Kemba but perhaps could develop the ability to? Are we looking at similar projections for Bazz as a pro prospect?

I think he's a late 1st. Somewhere in the 25-30 range. Dude can flat out ball. I could see him being one of the best back up PGs in the league.

i still have him in the 2nd round. top of the 2nd round, but 2nd round nonetheless. he's a ballsy player, but when those ballsy shots don't go in he looks like a chucker. shabazz is fearless, but he loves his hero ball. when he's not in a position to be the hero, how effective will he be just running the team and being a guy as opposed to being the man?

I think he will be a solid guard off some teams bench. He isnt 1st round worthy but he could definitely play a role for a team. There are alot of teams with just terrible guard play so just being a competent player can get you minutes even if you are lacking in some other areas.
