No, because he'd be 21 years old on a rookie deal.

Afflalo hate is all age and contract. We need this guy on the team 2 or 3 years from now, not today.

FYI. Afflalo is just entering his prime. He should be able to play at this level for 2-3 more years including today!

Plus, he is on a very good contract, is level headed who doesn't think he is a superstar. Humble die hard competitor. What else do you want. Cartwheels after great plays and a marketable grin.

Let's face it. AA just doesn't have that "cool" factor. :P

Jokes aside, I've always been turned off with AA because he always seemed to be angry and his demeanor indicated that he didn't want to to be here. Last season he also played selfishly and his name became synonymous with black hole lol. This season, he seems to be a much more willing passer and it seems like he genuinely wants to be here. If he keeps this attitude and play up, I'll be his biggest advocate.

Yeah right  The only reason you post on these boards is because Oladipo is here.

Watch,Next year you'll be "advocating" for any player on the same team as Jabari parker. **** player fans.

You can't cheer our guys on during the lowest times. You only support the team during games after we land a superstar in the draft. You want to trade our players for pennies on the dollar. Those aren't characteristics that come to mind when I think of a fan. I accept that we don't get each other but back off with the insults.

I'm on the tank train but this guy is a D bag. I love seeing our players play well and you don't dump assets for nothing just to lose. Kindly go away cause you're the cancer.

*TheRealDalic is a good poster and a loyal fan, don't know and don't care to know who you are Orlwillbeback. I'd also recommend apologizing

Man it's a good thing some of ya'll are sitting behind a computer screen when you decide to feel brave and insult people. Apologize to the man.

Thanks for having my back guys. :D But I don't need an apology. It didn't affect me in the least and I'm sure everyones cool now. Lol.

You don't understand what's at stake here. By not tanking this year, not only would WE not be getting a superstar, but 3-4 other teams WOULD be getting a superstar.

Therefore it is extremely likely that although we may have success this year, those teams that land a superstar would eventually improve, and most likely become contenders.

Meanwhile we're happy to have made the playoffs one time? Do you really think our current assortment of players can eventually contend?

And don't call me a bandwagoner, Moron

Wanting a team to lose is for the greater good. It's like taking one step back for two steps forward. I'd argue that a fan that still tunes in to watch the game or buys tickets but wants the other team to win so that ultimately their own team gets better in the future is even more of a hardcore fan than a fan who simply just wants to win every game, even if it results in making the 8th seed and getting spanked.

i think a lot of people who continue to cheer during games understand the value of a high pick and would welcome it if we are a bad team. we might get there, though a top 5 pick seems like a challenge given how many bad teams there are. we also understand that we aren't GMs and the team will play at whatever ability they have, so we might as well support the troops so to speak. i also don't want to sit here and say oh gosh henny made us too good too quickly so let's get rid of afflalo for a second rounder.

as to your comment about which is a more hardcore fan, i happen to disagree simply based on the assumption that i doubt our players would prefer it your way. but that's not really an important point of all this back and forth.

before we start dealing in absolutes here lets not forget that there are still a lot of unknowns. Like it's not FOR SURE that these guys will be superstars, also who is to say that some of them stay in college another year. Smart did and he was a Surefire top 3 pick in this past draft might not be in this upcoming one. Let's give it some more time before we say that if we don't lose more we will be missing out on Superstars. These dudes haven't even played a full NCAA season yet, just let it play itself out.

If Jabari Parker or Andrew Wiggins ends up in Utah it will not effect or hinder us in the least.
A smart coach once said, "Potential just means you're not good enough yet." Playing on potential is like living on air: It's essential, but if thats all you have, you're eventually going to starve.
