I don't know much about him but from reading that article it sounds like he can play any position but catcher and hes a switch hitter, I'm not gonna complain about that.

Also, and most importantly, hes not Yuni.

Yeah, well technically it was 162. A few weren't televised, but they usually had that 30 minute Quick Pitch recap.

It was pretty painful :D , but I mostly watched because of Gomie and Segura and the other young guys like Davis or Gennett... 2012 was at least more entertaining when they made that late season wildcard push.

What do you guys think about giving Napoli a deal to play 1st base?

I think Hart would be cheaper and could be in some sort of platoon situation with our fairly high amount of solid platoon hitters in the 3B/1B/RF positions.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice to buy power, I just would prefer to spend the little money we have elsewhere.

I'd prefer to not keep giving up draft picks in the chase of that magical playoff appearance that continues to elude us.

Reports are that the Brewers and Mets are discussing a deal that would bring Ike Davis to Milwaukee. Chances are slim that it happens

Read that the Brewers might want Ryan to move to right so Kris Davis can play everyday in LF. Is this true?

There's reports that it it's something they may look to do. They want Davis's bat in the lineup.

They would have to eat so much of that contract that moving him probably wouldn't even be worth it.

He's coming off a down regular season and completely brutal post season, I can understand thinking that he'll only get worse from here but I don't know what kind of value he has with how much money is tied up to him.

Probably not worth it, but to maximize his value, they need to trade him to an AL team that has a manager smart enough not to play him in the field.

They eat 1/2 the contract, I'll take him back

WSSP talking about a trade Braun for Fielder deal. I'd want Weeks to be in the deal and for Detroit to still take on a buttload of Fielder's contract before I even think about doing it.

They are so **** stupid. That is a lateral move in the absolute best case scenario and will more than likely turn into a loss.

Blah, blah, blah but steroids. Don't give a **** about that.

I wouldn't be surprised if they make a run at Kendrys Morales.

That would be typical. Giving up a pick for an aging, mediocre 1st baseman.

I wouldn't trade Braun if we have to eat the majority of his salary.
