The Kings are intrested in Shump as well

More and more folks around the league see some sort of Shumpert deal materializing sooner rather than later, given that he’s New York’s only real asset of value to make an in-season move and with the Knicks increasingly confident that they’ve got enough at the position to handle Shumpert’s exit now that J.R. Smith is back and with rookie Tim Hardaway Jr. looking good early.

Word is that the Nuggets do have a level interest — just not if the Knicks keep asking them to part with Kenneth Faried in exchange — while Sacramento is also said to be gauging how Shumpert might fit in.

Why not?
Why is Melo so important? What exactly has this guy accomplished in his 12 year career? At the end, it's the same story. Again, this is the 2nd poor start out of 3 seasons for Melo as a Knick. If the Lin madness didn't occur, this whole thing would had imploded in 2012.

because you're making it seem like he's the reason we're playing bad

after his best game you come out with that bull

**** Lin and stop making it seem like everything would have fell apart in that case Melo going off in April pushed us over the top

honestly get lost with your act, we have enough of that

every post has been a shot at Melo, I cant wait until you get banned

Dude I feel u so much..as a rockets fan it SUCKS having Lin fans talk crap about the rest of our team and point out every little thing about each player except lin

I started liking Lin but god his fans make me want our team to trade him just so I don't have to deal with them

Why would Sac take on all that extra expense for Amare (who has less on-court value than Thornton/Salmons) while basically swapping their starting pg for a sg when they drafted McLemore?

Does this trade make any sense for the Raptors? This is assuming the Raptors decide to tank.

Knicks send: Iman Shumpert, Amare Stoudemire

Raptors send: Rudy Gay, Landry Fields

Why on earth would we want Gay on that contract?

Uhh Amare & Gay expire the same time.

I'm sure you prefer Gay over Amare..

If we trade for Gay we getting Gay and Lowry.

This is a trade I would do.

Knicks - Amare, Iman, Felton
Raptors - Gay, KLowry

Gay can be a good player if he stops taking all those horrible shots and stick to stuff he does well like defense, rebound, and using his athleticism. I'm only hoping Gay stops his shot selection with Melo on the team, I don't know if he'll actually do it.

Wow, I'd actually would love that trade.
Too bad I don't see where Shump fits there.

PGs only please.

1) Shumpert + Felton for Dragic

2) Shumpert + Felton for Lowry

3) Shumpert, THJ, Felton, Amare (would probably only work in the summer when hes a valuable expiring), Possible pick Cash for Rondo and cancer contracts (GWall + Courtney Lee)

4) Shumpert and Felton for Andre Miller + Gallinari (or Chandler)

5) Shumpert + Felton for Greveis Vazquez + Jimmer Fredette

Knicks get - Eric Gordon & Greg Monroe
(Trading: Tyson Chandler, Iman Shumpert & Raymond Felton)

Pelicans get - Tyson Chandler & Rodney Stuckey
(Trading: Eric Gordon & Ryan Anderson)

Pistons get - Iman Shumpert, Raymond Felton & Ryan Anderson
(Trading: Greg Monroe & Rodney Stuckey)

Pelicans make this trade to put Anthony Davis next to his Olympic mentor, Tyson Chandler. Also swaps Eric Gordon & his contract of 2 more seasons with Rodney Stuckey, who fills in perfectly & is expiring.

Pistons does this because they do not want to give Greg Monroe the max & acquires players that have a couple years on their contract for cheap & can contribute.

we cant trade those picks because we dont own picks in 2014/2016

the best deal without losing Shumpert would be next years deadline

Rondo/Wallace/Lee for STAT/Felton/2018 1st/2020 1st

or we let everyone expire and sign Rondo out right and bring back everyone else on small deals(Chandler/Bargs)

Trades in bold I wouldn't do.

I love that Denver trade though. Miller would be great for this team, & with our 3 capable vet PGs we'd survive minutes wise. Pairing Gallo & Bargs together would be amazing.

How about this:

Raymond Felton + Iman Shumpert for Reggie Jackson + Thabo Sefolosha

Thunder get a 6th man + legit backup PG & get a younger Sefolosha who has potential to MUCH better.

Knicks get their PG for the future + a veteran version of Shump who is more consistent defensively.
