Not bad

And probably the only team with 3+ players logging heavy minutes with a PERS under 10.

Utah Jazz have been starting three guys with PER under 10. It's a race to the lottery.

Isaiah Thomas' PER is artificial, IMO. He's not much of a team player, freezing out McLemore like he does. Just an outsider's view.

PER is a loaded stat and entirely situational. Honestly, I'm getting a little sick and tired of all the stat crap going on these days. Every time you look around guys are breaking the record for "most points on a Tuesday thirty minutes after the first time out of a game where the home team is wearing their road uniforms". The only stats that mattered before are the only ones that matter now, it ain't rocket science.

We still suck...

Outside of Cousins, there isn't any starting caliber players on this team imo. McLemore has the potential to be a very good one but he's raw right now.

This is a total repeat of last year, it's not just the players. Sure, that's a part of the problem, the mess that Petrie and the Maloofs created is in large part still here, but when you start rotating in ball boys to get a spark it comes back down to system, just like it always has. When there is a lack of system, which no question is somewhat effected by personnel, and shots don't fall all confidence is lost. This lackluster start to the season should be a shock to nobody. Preseason left these players ill prepared and combined with a piecemeal roster you basically have this team for the last 3 years or so because by nature they will fall right back into whatever comfort zone of natural play players like this are going to gravitate towards.

Just like Smart should have, they need to use Cousins for his passing and get the SG's some easy backdoors at the rim. Shooting from the outside in when you aren't in the greatest state of mind ain't easy.

What was the deal with playing time today? I looked at the box score and the allocation of minutes looked like a team trying to tank.

I missed most of the game today but from what I've heard/read, coach Malone sat out the starting 5 for the rest of the second half due to the lack of effort on their part.

Something you and I can agree on.
