Ray handles the ball and does dumb **** all the time. He did last year, too.

Man don't listen to this guy... The end of last season was the Indiana series and Felton sucked.

Here I'll dime you on the only remaining Lin haters.

The real ones.. Jbreezy, GR, TheGarden, and Greenhughes. Ignore them. <sorry guys and gal.

Fair enough, but statistically, their is more evidence that they were even then not, unless you want to make the case that Felton is an intangibles player.

Surely you won't make that case, will you?

About equal if you ignore the fact that Lin was trending up the whole year and pretty clearly better by the end. Felton was always medicore. Even when he was putting up 17ppg in November and December 2012, he was doing it on 17.5 shots a game. By the end of the season when Lin became a 17ppg scorer, he was doing it with much greater efficiency and with more assists.

Felton is perennially in the bottom 5 among starting PGs for TS%

March 2013 (MPG FG%/3P% AST FGA PPG)

Lin 28.1 .482 .400 5.0 10.1 13.8
Felt 35.7 .500 .403 4.2 10.2 13.3

April 2013 (FG%/3P% AST FGA PPG)

Lin 34.7 .440 .364 6.9 13.9 17.3
Felt 32.9 .455 .333 5.5 11.0 12.0

Houston should not be interested in Rondo, AWFUL fit for them

That's the truth

Rondo is an amazing fit for Houston. Gives them 2 guys that can playmate & allows Harden to focus on being efficient. Starting Rondo then having Beverly come off the bench has to be mouth watering from a defensive standpoint.
The floor will be spaced & Rondo will help Dwight offensively. I can't see how its a bad fit, its not like Rondo needs to take 15 shots a game to be effective.

its not about shots, its about the damn basket :) both of them need to have in their hands

But Harden can play off the ball. I just can't see how having your 2 starting guards both being able to penetrate at will + Dwight being down low is a bad thing. Especially this season where penetrating the lane is so valuable. (not saying it wasn't in the past)

Last year he fit better. Period. Lin is a scoring guard and so is Felton, however Felton knows to give the ball to Melo and he keeps the TO's low. Linny on the other hand........

I swear Lin is Monte Ellis revised.

Do Not Want with Melo.

Felton averaged like .6 less turnovers a game last year. Not a huge difference.

Monta is a brick machine, Lin plays more efficiently and more under control. He's severely outplaying Ray Felton so far.

Lin got stronger as the year went on, for sure. However, he did play badly early, and you can't ignore that.

Regardless, Lin is currently a significantly better player, with a lot of upside.

Yes, but what do you expect with someone coming off knee surgery? He couldn't properly decelerate until the beginning of 2013 and didn't have full confidence in his knee.

It's funny how everyone is so surprised about Lin's improvement this year, when, really, he's just continuing what he started post-ASB last season. He's been a 40% 3pt shooter since then.

Well at least other sources are talking about it, so there may be some truth to it.

Let's not do Lin vs Felton. What good is it gonna bring ? Fact is that Lin is gone and Felton is here until we find a way to get rid of him. Lowry has been playing very poorly so far and I am sure we can put together a package for him because Colangelo is very dumb. Offer Felton plus Shump ?

But what team would do the Knicks a favor unless they're gonna make them bend over backwards if you know what I mean.

Paul - Reddick - Barnes - Melo - Jordan will be in the Finals, while...

Rondo - Smith - MWP - Griffin - Chandler will be again 1st round exit material ;)

Haters gonna hate... per Kobe, Melo is the best offensive player in the league (and the toughest to guard); per some Knicks fans and posters here he's Welo, the ball hog, chucker and mentally weak and spoiled prima-donna... GO FIGURE(!)... Even Dolan looks smarter than many of them!!

Im not a hater...I like Melo a lot..unfortunately, as constructed, this team is going nowhere... a Griffin/Rondo combo has a much longer window than anything wed put next to Melo... he needs very specific players to make us a finals contender...and I just dont see how we get those players.

Are you trying to win a slam dunk contest or a championship?! :)

Melo is top5 player in this league... unless you're an ESPN employee to think otherwise

Sources: Right now, Celtics have every intention of keeping Rondo & seeing if they can build around him.

we make it 4 way deal with Pheonix; they have 3 picks this year ;)

Dragic out, Shump in for them... Rondo in NYK, Dragic in BOS, Felton in HOU

More than the other sources, I believe in the Melo's desire and condition he has put on our FO to land Rondo for him to stay in Big Apple long term. Melo's free agency is the reason behind all this
