Re: GT: Pistons @ Lakers 6:30 Pm PST Nov-17
a problem i anticipate is that jhill might just be a "per 36 superstar" by which i mean although the increased minutes extrapolate his production accordingly, he might now be able to reach or sustain it if given the minutes, either by being injury prone or various drop offs attributed to poor stamina or advanced gameplanning etc
weve already seen some signs of this as when his PT increases so does his chance for injury. of course that is a byproduct of his raw hustle and frenetic playstyle
the point of all this is I would be wary for matching offers for him that are exorbitant, when he hits FA

Spurs and Denver were winnable too. We just couldn't score late in the half court.

haven't watched the game but I have to ask. were Hill's production coming from put backs, post ups, jumpers? or PnR from our PG's especially Blake?

Mostly offensive rebound put backs and PNR finishes with Blake and Farmar, though he did nail a few mid range shots, displayed a nice little floater, and I'm sure he posted up once or twice as well (didn't watch the whole game but most of it).

Hill's stat line is absurd though. He's putting up insane statistics via simply outworking guys down low, not by getting the ball.
If Pau can get going along with Kobe that'll be something...
Blake's 11 assists per game.. Wow

Seeing a lot of people say they missed the game.
You know you can rewatch them here? http://lakeshowgold.com/lakers-vs-pisto ... y-hd-720p/
Jordan Hill and Meeks just owned the second half. Was fantastic.

I'm hoping we can trade some of these guys near trade deadline time to start accumulating some draft picks.

a lil from everywhere, thats why its hard to stop him unless he gets in foul trouble. Only thing missing is a 3pt shot

Oh yeah forgot about those two games. Especially the Spur game, the difference was they had vets that knew how to close and we were leaning on guys not really use to doing it. Even though Pau should've been that man it was clear something wasn't right about him.kblo247 wrote:DEEP3CL wrote:5-7....could easily be 7-5 if not for the 2 home losses to Minny and Memphis.
