Dan Gilbert

Hello everyone, new to the board...

First off, just wanna say I've been a Cavs fan since 2005 and have watched roughly 95 percent of Cavs games since, but... our owner, Dan Gilbert...

He has had two superstars now and has failed miserably to put talent and a headcoach around either of them. Four lottery picks in three years and besides the obvious pick in Irving, we've reached, and IMO screwed up our selections badly. Then we re-hire Mike Brown who everyone knows is a horrendous coach. . .

Now I know people are going to say it's on Chris Grant but this has been going on for years with two seperate GM's and IF these GM's are crappy then WHY are they not held accountable? Why are they given free reign to keep screwing up? At what point are WE as fans going to hold DG accountable? We did with Randy Lerner, we do it with Dolan, but Gilbert is immune?

The product on the court is directly attributed to the owner, and I stand by that. And the worst part is, he seems oblivious to why we are struggling and he thinks the players drafted were the best we could have done. He comes on the FSO broadcast preaching per 36 mumbo jumbo and that tells me he's a spreadsheet junkie by choice or learned from Chris Grant.

Listen man, when you're in the lottery, you don't reach, you always take the consensous (or the closest thing) pick, if you don't you're just asking for failure. We're at rock bottom still because of poor decision making higher up. . .

Ok so please explain what you would have done differently and provide stats please. Who should have the Cavs drafted and who should they have signed as a Coach?

This year the draft was horrible. There were no clear number one picks. But regarding the coach we should have picked up, LIONEL HOLLINS!!!!!!!.

Wait a sec. He has had TWO superstars? You mean old Shaq or something?

Kyrie is very promising, exciting to watch and might be top 3 PG for many years to come. But calling him superstar right now? No way...
