Pack/Queens Lead Up

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Mon Nov 18, 2013 2:56 pm

I have zero confidence in this team. Sure we could win, probably should win.

Usually a hot ticket but you can get a pair of tix for around $100 each on stubhub right now. Normallythere are a ton of Queens fans buying but many of them will sit this one out. Low demand from Pack fans as well. And the long range forecast has a high of 26 next Sunday. Ticket prices will only go down.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Vikings are terrible, absolutely no reason to lose this game.

If Tolzien can stay away from those terribly timed ints, we should win this.

I think with a full offseason, Tolzien would look like a solid backup option on this team.

I agree and I think he is our #2 guy next year, I think that was the plan even before the injury situation, he was just forced in to action sooner than expected.

I'd rather let Tolzien battle a 100% healthy Flynn for the back up QB job next year than just give it to him. If both are healthy, I'd still prefer Flynn to Tolzien.

I hope they at least give Flynn a look this week. Give each of them time with the #1 offense. I just watched Tolzein's press conference, he looked like he had just seen a ghost, not that I can blame him.

Anybody know if Rodgers is on track to be back for the Detroit game?

No one has actually said that he'll be back for that game, but there have been several hints dropped by Wilde and company that have indicated that he's planning to be back for that game.

I have a feeling that one of these two isn't going to be back with the team next year. They'll be fishing for a chance at starting elsewhere. Tolzien is an RFA and Flynn is a UFA.

This is the season on the line. I think we're a little less than 50/50 to win. It's gonna be interesting to say the least.

I doubt there is a team that would give Flynn another chance to start.

Agreed and I think you'd have to say the same thing about Tolzien at this point.

I disagree. I think he'll look for a situation where he isn't sitting behind a QB that he has zero chance of supplanting for a starting gig.

If this team has any dreams of making the playoffs, this is a must win. Wildcard is probably out of the question and if we fall 2 games back of 2 teams in the division it's probably over as well and if we lose that will probably happen because I don't see the Bears losing to the Rams or the Lions losing to the Bucs.

A loss and the season is done. I know some people think we can still get in at 10-6, but I'm not seeing it this year.

I think we can still get in at 10-6. Sweeping the Lions and splitting with the Bears would give us a decent shot at winning the division. But it would still be really tough.

We have 3 division games left. The 2 against Detroit and Chicago are must-wins, and this one is close. But if we win the other 2 and go 10-6, it's not that hard to picture us getting help from Det or Chicago. Detroit could go to 10-6 by losing to us and any one of TB, PHI, BAL, NYG. We win based on head-to-head. Chicago could go 10-6 by losing to us and one of STL, DAL, CLE, PHI. We win based on division record.
