-Took accountability for the loss and said no one played well
-we have to bring better focus
Basic stuff but the confidence showed bright still

all good.
we beat Memphis in Memphis late last year...how much did that help?
this isn't over by a long shot...onto the next game.
i know we will respond.

I was just talking the other day about how those 19 footers are incredibly frustrating. I'm glad his jumper has improved but ffs step in or step out. Part of this I think should fall on Doc as they should be stressing that stuff.kylem4711 wrote:TheNewEra wrote:Doc should be grilled for this game this team better show improvement soon.
i dont know why, but blake pisses me off more than any other clippers.
he doesn't like to box out, whenever he does something wrong he puts his head down, and he is down to take a jumper just inside the 3 point line, but will not even face up and look at the basket when he is around 15 ft.

Also our shooting just really hasn't been there this year. JJ obviously has shot great and so has Jamal but that is about it. Collison/Dudley/Barnes/Paul/Mullens(though did anyone expect him to be anything other than a terrible shooter?) have struggled from deep. With all of the effort we put into adding shooting this offseason I think we were expecting better results. The good news is, we've been great for the most part on the offensive end regardless so things should look up.

CP3, Barnes & DC have a worse 3pt% than Mullens. JJ and Crawford are our only reliable 3pt shooters so far this season. In games where we can't score in the paint (like against memphis) then we need our perimeter shooters to step up.

Re: Game 11: Los Angeles (7-3) vs Memphis (5-5)
I had to come in early to work so I haven't been able to watch the whole game yet, but catched most of the 1st and 4th quarters. I love that everytime we play them it feels like a playoff game, but I don't like losing to them AT ALL. Even if it's a meaningless game like this one and it might be useful to light a fire under our asses. I really hate Randolph's ugly mug and Allen and Gasol and Conley even poor Tayshaun who seems like as much of a good guy as you can be. I still hate to see his face. I hope we see each other again in the playoffs but I'm not sure I'd be able to take another loss against them. Eff the effing paedobears, blue collar my ass! bunch of screwfacing moaners is what they are. Blake should just punch the fat dude in the face the next time they see each other, it'd be soo worth it even if he was suspended for 30-40 games.
Anyway, now that I got that out lol, our bench is a big problem, probably even bigger than expected. Every time Mullens and/or Hollins get any playing time the other team goes on a big run, and our starters are not that good to allow that luxury. I don't like Rivers' love for Barnes either, he's good with the second unit and a veteran that's good to have, but Dudley is a much better player even if he's not playing that well so far, ideally Dudley should be playing around 30 minutes and Barnes less than 20. Also what the hell is happening to Paul's long range shot? he used to be automatic and you couldn't ever leave him open, but since the second half of last season he's been quite bad and missing a lot of open threes, hope it's just a prolonged funk and his numbers even out, but it's not looking great.
