Granted, he' doesn't seem all the way back to his Orlando days, but maybe he'll never be. $20M/yr is for a two-way player. Howard is not. He wouldn't have been worth it. And then we'd have to hear him whining. Much better having Iguodala + Bogut for a few million dollars per year more than Howard.

Bargnani owned him last night.

 That's embarassing - though Bargnani is a very talented offensive player in his own right.

That's why I don't get why all y'all are saying Dwight is easily the best C in the NBA. I know it's a depleted position, but he's a one-way player with glaring deficiencies who hasn't recovered his Orlando defensive form. Flashier Marc Gasol with a worse post game. You'll never win a title with Dwight being your centerpeice. He's a second fiddle at best. Hell, Orlando built a monster team around him that was 100% made to accommodate Dwight AND he was playing the best basketball of his career - came out with nada.

Overrated POS. Would've liked if he was our overrated POS, not gonna lie, but Iguodala+Bogut isn't a bad consolation prize.

NBA has the Wolves higher than us on the power rankings. I thought our game made it pretty clear they're not on the same tier as us.

Bargs' positioning might even be sadder than Amar'e in that still.

Apparently Nash is in constant pain and considering retirement. Sucks to see him go out like this, even if he's eating up capspace in the lakers (although if he retired they have no committed salary next year). Nash has always been one of my favorites because he's the ultimate team player. Always goes out there and plays hard trying to make the best play for the team and not caring about his stats. Never won a title unfortunately (although lots of the best PGs haven't) but was the high bbiq leader that was able to lead some of the best offenses ever. One of the best shooters and passers I've ever seen
Jarret Jack: “I brought one of my best suits. But looking down at this jersey, it’s just a sense of pride I don’t think I’ve ever felt as a professional. … Nothing in my closet is better than what I have on now."

It was just totally mindblowing seeing it on live action, actually found a gif of it on the Knicks board:

When JR smith is the only person who realizes what's going on, on defense, you're in trouble.

I can't decide who's worse in that replay, Amar'e or Bargs. Bargs randomly hugs air going for an imaginary opponent, while Amar'e turns his back on both the ball and the player he's guarding and stares off into a direction with no opponents or ball.

Terrance Jones is coming on and he adds something to Houston's lineup....kind of a do it all sf-pf....at Kentucky he showed that ability and now he's gaining confidence.

I hate the Rockets!@#theysuck

Rick carlisle is making Monta look like a top 3 shooting guard in the league. THATS how good of a coach he is.

Carlisle is a great coach and I think there was a slight window where the Warriors could have signed him instead of Jackson.

I think Jackson over time has the potential to be a great coach, but Carlisle is on a different level.

Tay is with a coach and a team that fits and believes in him. Balling his ass off. Needs to continue to cut the turnovers down, but so proud of him.

Dude's averaging 4 turnovers and playing 38 minutes with atrocious defense. He's more efficient, but calm down and go back into your cave of hiding before proclaiming him the second coming of Jesus.

Gee I didn't get that in his post at all....and he mentioned the turnovers.

Monta is one of Rapheads favorite players going way back...why can't he like him?

Balling his ass off? Same old Monta. His efficiency has gone up a bit, but I'd like to see him do that over 82 games.

Did you watch? He was balling his butt off. At one point he was 9-11 and Dirk was 6-10. Dirk is rejuvinated with having some pressure taken off. Its working well for both guys. No need to hate.

Monta wasn't all bad here. Often he was the only guy worth a damn on the court. Not having solid players around you affects efficiency. It forces you to take bad shots or inefficient shots. Half court heaves and end of clock hoists.

Jarrett Jack is suffering through something like that right now with the disjointed Cavs. It really helps your efficiency to play with better shooter/players. Look at what Iguodala is doing right now.

I'm not here to bash you or anyone else, and I'm also not here to suggest Monta always took good shots, but he gets a somewhat unfair rap here as being forced by his coaches (every last one of them) to be the #1 scorer on horrid rosters. Its not the role he should be in and until Bob Myers showed up our GM's have had their heads up their butts in regards to adding talent and improving the roster.

Its like saying everything Jack did was pound the ball, when being honest, he bailed us out of many jams and was often hitting huge shots.
