First, Rajai Davis is bad. Second, unless we're expecting a Dodgersesque payroll bump, there is no way we're spending money on a 4th OF.

seems like they want to go cheap on all the backup spots and maybe even 2b,C - guess they are going to try to upgrade the starters

Why not? It worked so well last year, after all. Who needs an MLB calibre 2B or catcher??

So what's our current depth chart and team salary? What's our salary ceiling?

Looking more and more likely that JJ's going to win 38 games and his Cy Young next year with the Pirates. Oh well.

Johnson is doing the smart thing if he goes to Pittsburgh. They put a high premium on defense and going back to the NL will help.

Johnson signing with the Padres. One year, $8M base salary.

An extra 1.25 mill if he makes 26 starts. I think he'll do well in that park.

Davis was clutch and his base running capabilities were a huge threat and put pressure on opposing pitchers. caused a lot of mistakes for opponents. gunna miss that ugggh

One of my best Rajai memories. This was hilarious.
