better? no, not a chance

better fit. absolutely.

we need a guy who is a passer first, whose attitude does not waver based on his shot falling or not, and a guy brings it on both ends of the court.

im done with dwill. he has done nothing but sulk, underachieve, and be injured in his time here. he used up all his excuses the past 3 years. he had no leash with me this year, so im done with him. we could literally trade him for a 2nd rounder and i wouldnt care so long as he is gone

With all the injuries occurring its hard to find that continuity or identity in my opinion. Once that takes place we will see a respectable unit on the floor. Hopefully.

im just shocked at how isntead of KG/Pierce/Kidd breathing leadership, intensity, and urgency into this team the opposite has happened and those 3 guys being brought in to lead have become infested with the losing lottery mentality that has had its stench on this team for years. Im just not sure what else can be done other then to swap our best player(be it dwill or lopez... or both) for a star who plays with leadership and intensity.

i just honestly dont see what else can happen to get this team out of its bad lazy habbits. we brought in an all-time time leader and he hasnt been able to get through to these guys. think chicago would do Rose for dwill or noah for brook?

we have to make the play-offs first and if things continue like this then that's not going to happen.

Wiggins looks good in black?

Seriously though, our two weaknesses are health and a green coach and both are biting us in the butt really hard right now. We need Kidd to get it together, and we need Deron to get healthy and get back to being an All-Star point guard very very fast.

i really cant blame anything on health when our worst losses have been with a healthy roster(sac, wash, orl).

coaching, sure. but the thing is the biggest coaching issue is getting these guys motivated. that isnt something that should requires tons of coaching experience.

and i know there is jack i can do about it but it drives me insane when we have a terrible effort and the coaches dont acknowledge it and are like "shots didnt fall"

guess what Kidd, at no point in the season are these shots going to fall consistently. long 2's dont go down for 48 minutes a night for 12-14 game spurts

Let's hope Livingston lets deron play some off ball too. Just watched the video of his leg going sideways flamingo and am super impressed to see him back on top of his game. That fat jam he had, he jumped that leg too didn't he?

Impressive game. Let's hope brook and him develop a good two man game.

@brooklynsbeat
#Nets defensive rating when Brook is in: 98.7, would be 7th in the NBA. When he sits: 110.3, would be 30th. That’s before tonight.

Bu bu no energy from Brook! He sucks defensively! At least Blatche brings energy!

Exactly! He isn't intense enough! Brook is the only shot blocker on this team that legitimately makes us a lot better on defense, is without question the best offensive center in the NBA and leads the East in PER... but we're worse with him on the floor because he shows no fire! We should trade him for Perkins.

IDK, I think I'd at least shoot for Gortat, Perkins hasn't been the same since the injury.
