We should fire Mike Brown..

Post#1 » by ThirdEyeSharp » Thu Nov 21, 2013 1:33 am

I try to be as reasonable as I can be, but I cannot tolerate this team being worse than it was last year.

We have yet to seem like a competent basketball team, and this team is way too young to let MB stifle their development.

No one on this team cares right now, they're all plain faced and we play zero defense. That's supposed to be Mike Brown's strength.

That failed run at the end of the game doesn't change the fact that his rotations suck, there's no chemistry out there, and we're coming out flat in nearly every game. We're not even running an offense.

Maybe I just over reacted, but we're 12 games in and I haven't seen one showing that made me confident in this team.

^ You are right. It's Mike Brown's offense that seems to be the problem. There's not enough movement both off and on the ball and that reflects directly on Brown. It is difficult to watch.

Brown got a five-year contract. He's not going anywhere.

if he preaches defense why is varejao always guarding at the top of the key and creates a mismatch in the post...i wanna kill myself everytime i see that smh...then with the offense no ball movement and kyrie waits till gets triple teamed and is too late to pass it up and bricks a shot....we need to make changes to our gameplan asap

He had a few years left in LA, as well. This means nothing as we can fire him whenever we want.

It's just too soon to pull the plug on Brown. With a 5 year contract that makes it everyso remote. The young guys don't know how to win with all the tanking the Cavs did the last 3 seasons. It will take more time to brake the bad habits these young guys acquired from the tank mode.

Varejao ends up at the top because teams run pick and role. The problem is not really him. It's poor rotations.

If you saw the game, Andy gave up his ground everytime on defense. As Nene or Gortat came at him, he back peddled instead of anchoring. Any big that can finish is gonna take advantage of that.

Not sure if it's his fault, everyone is playing terrible D.

I agree 1000%. Lionel Hollins in available. I watch are games and thing we are playing pickup basket ball. We have guys in the wrong spot, bad rotations, and no offense except for a point guard that needs the ball and gets doubleteamed. Brown is clueless. HE HAS TO GO NOW!!! La got rid of him in a few months why not Cleveland. This is making Gilbert look bad.

is worst than watching middle school kids play for real...it looks like there is no gameplan and it just adjust as you can is really bad to watch

Our front court has no ability to stretch the floor or create their own shot. Crazy to say but we need a SF....or CJ/Karasev needs to start at the 3

This is very concerning ... Why is Dellavedova starting ahead of Waiters and Karasev? Why did TT only play 23 minutes against the Pelicans while Andy had 28? Not to mention, Waiters, TT, and Bynum weren't playing down the stretch yet Gee and Clark were in the game. I am confused. The offense, not surprising, is atrocious. Kyrie is shooting a career low.. Waiters is shooting worse than last year. Bennett is getting a few DNPs.. What a mess.

Im not as close to watching the Cavs as you guys are, but how can this guy be defended when he's on his second stint and still making the same mistakes? The same old nonsense with bad rotations and no offensive game plan. Maybe I'm missing something
