Only a matter of time before people start accepting the truth.

Its clear we need to make moves. This team, as currently constructed, is not working.

Smith/Moose/Dre is not working. All three are most efficient in the paint. For floor-spacing's sake,Smith is trying to play more out on the perimeter - which is only leading to him chucking up far too many 3's. And Smith can't keep up with quicker SF's on the defensive side of the ball, and Monroe had regressed defensively as well.

Every time Monroe drives the lane, he gets his shot blocked, or he turns it over. And if he's really worked on his mid-range J all offseason, we have yet to see the improvement. He still hesitates way too much and just doesn't shoot them. 9 times out of 10, if he gets the ball in the high post, he's driving the lane.

Singler playing 20-25 minutes per night is another fail. He's just not good, at much of anything.

Stuckey has been good so far, but he's not a floor-spacer by any means.

KCP isn't ready for big minutes on a nightly basis.

The team is just jacked up. We're built around 3 paint players, and don't have any consistent 3-point threats for floor spacing to put around them.

Interested.....In your opinion, how many games are necessary to form a judgement on a team?

We have played 5 of 52 games vs our conference with a starting lineup that includes 2 players from last year.

More than 5 games Pete lol

I think we've played enough games to start noticing trends but not enough to start acting on them. I personally am not overly concerned about who we are playing as long as the sample size is large enough.

If we didn't have a bunch of new faces then I would say that time is around 1/4 of the season in (21 games). However, since there is a new coaching staff and a bunch of new players then I think I'd extend it to around 1/3 or roughly 27 games in.

I think that barring a rash of injuries should be a reasonable enough time for a new coach to see who he has and make appropriate adjustments and allow his team to gel a little.

If you don't care about trying to save a season then maybe you wait until the all-star break. But by then the damage has largely been done.

I think the team has done pretty well considering we have so many pieces that don't fit etc... Just imagine how good they can be by trading Monroe and Villanueva for a back-up big man and a 2-way SF with range.

How has this team done well? If you think being a bad team is good, this roster is pure garbage. This team won't make the playoffs with this large line-up.

What I meant is that we have gotten decent results even though we haven't done anything that well.
