Not hugely surprised we're losing. This is Joe Dumars. He doesn't really care about if players fit together.

See: The summer of CV/Gordon and when he tried a 3 SG lineup (lol). Josh Smith is exactly the same player he was with the Hawks. An inefficient chucker who occasionally plays amazing.

Just like how Milwaukee couldn't get rid of CV fast enough......... and Chicago let BG go.......... and Milwaukee was so eager to let BJ go........ Joe Dumars - chump yet again

no they wanted 82-0 & a title

& when they got that they would complain we didnt win by enough in the 82 wins because Drummond didnt try hard enough.

Im really unimpressed with Smith and Jenning's offense. These are two of our least efficient players and they dominate the ball.

Do you think they would be more efficient offensively if they were able to take shots inside the paint once in a while? Smith is taking more 3's than he ever has because we need somebody to make an attempt to open things up for guys to get into the paint. He's not just chucking them up all the time because he thinks it's a good idea, he's taking them when he's open and I'm sure that's what he's been told to do.

Ya gotta count the playoffs -- 98-0 and a title. :)

I don't know how anyone was expecting us to go in and grab a win in Atlanta during the second game of a back-to-back.... And it's not like we were blown out either.

Well your fairly well known shooter is shooting 35% FG from the field and 25% from the 3 pt line. THAT'S ANDRE FT% BAD. That's atrociously bad for a player that's play SHOOTING GUARD.

You act like the kid is terrible,so what if his shot isnt falling yet, would you rather have billups starting again at sg,trust me you will be begging for kcp back into the lineup.

I love KCP's defense, he's up on his man and plays good man to man defense. I love him playing passing lanes (However, he can't even finish breakaways without a miss or turnover it seems). He needs to realize that his shot is not falling, STOP SHOOTING LONG JUMPERS. 1-10 from 3 pt land won't win. It will create long rebounds that start fast breaks for your opponents (which we are horrendous at defending). He's been horrible shooting the basketball. If you can't shoot and hit, then you are hurting your team. Everyone seems to love players that shoot without a conscience out there. I don't like them. If you shoot and miss, you missed an opportunity to add to the score. Continuing to shoot when you are 2-12 doesn't seem like good shot selection to me. Do you know why the Spurs are successful? It's discipline and shot selection. They work the ball around for the best shot possible. The Pistons seemingly have to work just to get any shot, good or bad. KCP is a good talent, not calling for his head, just asking him to use it more often. He's fitting in with the LOW IQ basketball players on this team right now and he needs to rise above it.

10 games into the season and you've already defined this move. Most of Detroits level headed fans knew there was going to be a adjustment period. which is what this is. Also we are losing because of our defense, and that has nothing to do with fit but rather our teams understanding of the scheme. Lastly we have cap flexibility and assets to make moves later on in the season if the adjustment doesn't work out. In case you didn't know, this is all because of Joe D. Its called patients, and you'll need some if you intend on watching our boys play

The funny part is you guys keep pointing to the offense and saying how bad it is when if we were even playing average defense we'd be 8-3. I'm not worried. These individual pieces are nice defenders. They just need to communicate. That'll come.

it also seems that there is either a lack of understanding on defensive rotations or Cheeks defensive game plan is just as bad as franks. I personally think a large part has to do with Jennings and his complete lack of focus not to mention poor shot selection in transition. Best part is that if he makes those shots as oppose to bricking , long rebound and instant 2 points on the other end, i'd be hailing Jennings as oppose to criticizing him on that subject. unfortunately he's missing
