hey who knows, maybe our team is the nba equivalent of the NY giants?

Yea I don't think so either.... well, I hope KIng gets fired and Kidd decides to walk.... bring on Karl or Hollins or a Doug Collins lol..

Well...we were doing pretty good until the game started, then it got ugly but there were some entertaining moments...My two favorite moments were Plumlee's high flying dunk, and when the final buzzer sounded.

crap after hearing that now im mad i missed it

Don't worry Drazen-4-3, you can see it all over again our next game. :D

the most concerning part is i dont see what is going to improve? i dont see dwill playing top ball/staying healthy. i dont see major bumps in play from jj/pp/kg. lopez can make a big impact, but i dont see it being enough to take us from the nba''s worst team to some playoff jaugernaut.

king has some work to do

King has done enough work with the franchise as well my sanity....

We need Dwill to wear braces or wraps cuz he cant keep doing down like this...

PP needs to freaking score, validate his starting position for me.. I seen this guy miss n miss, he's suppose to be our upgrade.

-Everyone came out making shots

-Reggie Evans played the worse defense I've seen in a long time. He even got outrebounded multiple times. The Bobcats looked like the Spurs cutting backdoor on him.

-Nobody could stay in front of Kemba off the dribble.

-Deron started to make some beautiful highlight passes in transition to Plumlee

-He attempted a jumper and Kemba stuck out his leg and he landed on his foot and rolled his left ankle. Now, It sounds like It might have not been such an accident.

-Shaun Livingston had the effort there but he was downright terrible on all ends of the floor even though he helped make it a comeback.

-Blatche was great. He moved to Center and started finishing inside on offensive rebounds.

-Garnett literally tried to defend two guys at the sametime at one point with Evans on the floor.

So, the two biggest conclusions: Our offense/defense sucks and it's not so much about the players. It's about the actual system. It's pretty obvious because the effort was there but the actual results were not and this was after a THREE HOUR Practice. At one point in the game, It looked like they couldn't figure out how to get in the paint and ended up taking late shot clock jumpers. One person holds the ball, tells another to move to get open, the other moves and then there is two guys in the paint, the opposing player yells "THREE SECONDS" and then Johnson hoists a jumper.

Everyone is going to say KG looks done but Kidd went to a 2/3 zone and he looked like himself on defense and helped the Nets comeback with a chance to win the game. Blatche looked different as well.

They all just look confused. I don't think anyone knows what they are supposed to do and Pierce is now hinting at it.

PP has indeed played & shot very poorly the last 2 games. His numbers were solid at 14-6-3 on 46% during the prior 8 games. I honestly do not know what is wrong with him. Even though he is 36, he didn't suddenly fall off a freaking cliff after putting up 19-6.2-5.6 on 48.5% and 42.5% and TS% 61% after the ASG last season.

KG will also come around.

If you have not noticed, JJ has been volume shooting like **** in most recent games as well.

DWill and Brook need to **** play and play well, and team needs some time to gel.

However, I am getting very very aggravated and impatient also.

only thing turning this ship around is a personel change. dwill's gotta go IMO. that or pierce, who i believe does not have a no trade. if we could swing pierce for an athlete like say rudy gay id make that move. pierce is gone at the end of the year anyhow if we underachieve

Neither DWill or Paul should be moved anywhere. Premature ejaculation.

11 games in and the team sucks.

Talk to me after another 20 games.

The idea that the personnel doesn't know what to do doesn't seem shocking to me

Rewatch the training camp footage from NBA TV, when Frank was coaching defense. I was utterly confused at their system and the calls. I was wondering why can't it be more simple.

That's what they need to do. Simplify everything and get back to pick and rolls and moving the ball.

Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing as well at least for the defensive end.

Aside from the lack of boxing out (which is completely inexcusable), I see us being more confused and unsure of what to do on defense than actually being lazy on defense.

We don't have elite athleticism so we can't run through every pick but we do have length.

We should revisit tape of the 09-10 Lakers. Gasol, Bynum, and Odom were a bit more athletic than we are but their defense was predicated on having the bigs pack the paint and extend your arms straight up to contest shots.

I think it's ok to allow guard penetration toward the paint as long as the bigs rotate and contest them. It'll force the opposition to pass out and take long shots. I don't mind giving up threes if we have the paint locked down, but I don't like giving up both.
