there are lanes for our guards to attack in a zone...
more importantly when you are attacking... the defence tends to collapse down on you...
leaving wide open shooters...
when driving to the basket
Harden tends to not pass the ball...
and Lin tends to pass the ball too much...
this is where these guys need to mix it up a bit..and get more balanced attacks
of course in this game... like I said Lin just settled for the jump shots

Re: [Game#13] Rockets vs Mavericks - Game Thread
this game is a hard one to pass. its not cuz of the mavs, i dont give a **** who we played. its so fked looking at this team on paper and blowing away a 20pt lead to lose the game. refs always suck, not blaming them. the team - coaches and players - were sucking to the bone as the commanding lead disappeared.
and cmon, the mavs aren't a powerhouse. how can you not come out with a win when u have 20 pt lead? basketball gods have mercy on their souls. the rockets **** suck.
when i checked the record a week or so ago they were 7-5. i was shocked cuz i thought it was more like 4-8. i dunno how they win games, must be some voodoo magic.
what a sh*ty way to start things with dwigth as your new center. spoiled faker scumbag fans are laughing their asses off at dwight. im glad i dont have to deal with laker fans anymore, there'd be alotta blood if i did lol
one good positive - asik is playing meaningful minutes. i dont wanna trade him, at least not now. see if tj can keep playing at a high level. get that jumper going.
and mcfail, he's never wrong, according to him. its the players fault, or lin's lol.

Wait...refresh my memory...which quarter was that in?
I recall a handoff from Asik TO Lin that resulted in a TO because Asik basically handed the ball to the defender.
you DO realize that Lin had ZERO turnovers that game, right?

I'm going to double post here because this is also my game analysis.
I like stats, so lets look at the gameflow graph from the previous game
http://popcornmachine.net/cgi-bin/gamef ... ame=HOUDAL
The game wasn't about Jeremy Lin or Asik, they didn't affect the gameflow in any meaningful way. No major changes in the plus minuses.
The biggest difference was in the 4th quarter collapse, Dwight went 1 for 5 fg. Harden goes 1 for 4 fg. Parsons not contributing going 0 for 1 in 9 minutes.
On the other side, Dirk and Vince alternating goes 8 for 9 fg. Sometimes shooting over tiny Beverley. Monte going 3 for 4 fg.
Rockets choked. It was an epic 4th quarter collapse, pretty much snatching defeat from victory. I don't even know how it could be replicated again. 15 points nose dive in the 4th quarter.
Like I said, I don't know if Jeremy would have made much difference, I doubt it. But, I don't think the bench could have played any worse defense. Also note that Harden played 42+ minutes. It might explain the effort on defense.
This loss is on McHale, or that Carlisle is just that much better of a coach. But if you want to look on the bright side, McHale is better than Jason Kidd. Nets gameflow graph is ridiculously bad, it hurts to look at it.
