Afterward, there was a surprise awaiting the Heat -- an early Thanksgiving dinner in the locker room, gumbo and fried chicken and a table filled with desserts, all cooked by Ray Allen's mother

You know she put in some real time on that. Feeding over a dozen athletes, plus staff (probably). Unfathomable!

I do enjoy reading the bits about team/organization comraderie.

Our team was at that time was playing with their heads in their butts. You know what kind of sucks though? We'd be on a 9 game win streak if it wasn't for that Boston game. But every year this team needs some sort of sign that they have to get their heads back in the game. Right now we're on a good momentum run. Also Nets gave it their ALL against us. They are after us. But they don't take into account the other teams and thus, suck against everyone else lmao.

We will blow them out next time we see Brooklyn though... especially if they are in our house.

You know.. I kinda had a feeling that even with all the hype about different things like Rose coming back, Nets acquisitions, Knicks getting better, Cavs and other teams coming up etc, it was all going to fall down within a couple of weeks and there were just going to be a hand-full of teams that were actual contenders.. I actually thought that we could've broken the 72-10 record this year if we played like we wanted it.. Unfortunately, with health concerns and knowing how we start off the gate, I also knew it was a pipe dream..

in the end its championship or bust. i couldn't care less if we finish 42-40. if in the end this team has another championship, even if it means going to 7 games again in the finals and winning by 1 point. Im happy. enjoy this team guys cause when their time is up youll probably never see one like this again

This is the truth. We are currently amidst one of the greatest teams in NBA history. I don't want to blow that out of proportion, but if we win 3, and if we win more, then that is incredibly unique.

I have to catch myself sometimes being bored with Lebron. He's so damn good all the time, that I forget how rare it is to have a player like him on this team. However, each year, Riley brings in two new pieces that keep me entertained despite my increasing adaptation to this impressive team. Battier and Cole. Ray and Andersen. Oden and Beasley. Who's next? It's very exciting to be a fan of such a great team.

Sometimes I feel like its a reward for those horrible losses to the Knicks in the late 90s, or Alonzo's kidney disease. Whatever, its a pleasure to have such a rewarding diversion to keep up with.

In my case, it's Bosh who I sometimes overlook and take for granted. LeBron is a machine, Wade is either that or injured and pisses me off, but Bosh often times goes unnoticed. I'm not a fan of his game since I prefer the more physical back-to-the-basket kinda big, but CB can play. Given the guys that run around playing his position and don't even have a defined game, you can only appreciate having him on the squad.

I would say we do not win a championship without bosh.....neither of the 2.....

He didnt had great games in all of the games but there were specific games where we do not win without him.

Im glad we signed him.
