The Baltimore Orioles have joined the New York Yankees as American League East clubs interested in free-agent Jhonny Peralta.
The Orioles like Peralta as a left fielder, while the Yankees view Peralta as insurance at shortstop and third base.
Peralta is reportedly seeking a three-year, $45 million deal.
