He took maybe 3 shots i didn't like but for the most part he has been good.

Defense has been unreal.

Our lead may be unsafe, but theirs is unsafer.

A fifteen point lead at the half against the hottest team in the Western Conference? I'll take it.

Aldridge and Lillard are a combined 2-17. I know some people will dismiss our defense and attribute it to Portland simply missing shots, but if it wasn't for Matthews and his four 3-pointers we'd be up by 25+.

Derrick's 5-17 (I was shocked when I saw that), but he looks excellent out there and he's getting to the line. Great stuff from him so far. Lu with a double-double before the half. Great job of bouncing back from last night's dreadful shooting display.

So far, so good. We can't come out and put up a stinker in the third.

As a poster I don't even think I have ever even heard you mention Kirk's name before in any sort of positive way.

Just admit you're a little late coming around on the Kirk bandwagon. It's OK, KingCuban.

Really love what I am seeing tonight. Defense , rebounding , energy + hustle , low turnovers. Lu all over the boards. Derrick looking like he is returning to form. He's played great. Beastly D on Lilard

I'll tell you what , Kirk Hinrich is a defenive hustling beast. all ove the court lke the energizer bunny. And what a save. I'd go to battle wth that guy by my side any day lol

the test now - to play a good 3d quarter and then 4th quarter.

We can go in a hole, the Blazers can score quickly. Best we bring it going into the 3rd

I don't know about Aldridge but Lillard's playing like ass for a reason. Hard to play when you got Derrick Rose in your hip pocket the whole time.

Props to Teague for doing positive things while he was on the floor, really aggressive just attacking the basket. He needs to keep that up every single time he gets minutes.

It should not be overlooked that about 3-4 baskets were made as a result of him penetrating and taking a second defender, and though he missed the shot, Boozer or Deng would pick up the rebound and score. That counts for something and should not be discounted.

We really need play well this half. This is a winnable game and can't let that get out of our hands.

Like Shaw said last night to Nuggets team, "We need to have a killer instinct" and just finish them off. Don't give them any hope.

Shout out to Marquis for playing confident and aggressive. That's what I want to see from him when he's on the floor. People are so quick to give up on him, but he's only 20-years old and he shows flashes of becoming a solid player.

And Kirk's statline is never impressive, but I always feel like he makes a definite impact on the game. Kudos for the Rodman-esque suicide dive for the ball.

The Bulls have 10 second chance points off of Rose misses. FG% never tells the whole story.
