Well, when you have a few bad luck injuries and a coaching staff that installs a freestyle offense that doesn't require ZERO plays, this is the end result.

Yeah, losing DW and BL is huge. My only concern right now is that they are already 12 games in with a record of 3-9 (after this game). For a team with an old and injury prone core they are going to expend too much energy chasing a playoff spot once they all get back. Ideally, they would want a top 4 seed but if these losses keep on piling up they are going to be in a situation where they might be chasing the 7th and 8th seed and face a tough team in the first round (Indy/Miami/Chi).

A team with a losing record is currently in first place of the Atlantic Division.

can we stop excusing away our awful play with the dwill/lopez injuries?

we sucked giant balls before those guys got hurt. getting the back obviously helps, but not having them is hardly the big issue

logic.

with them, were an underachieving team with a solid chance at getting better. without them, were an awful team that should lose pretty much every game. although i do agree it would be nice if we could look vaguely competitive.
