In context it didn't sound bad.

Said when he gets in the game, its bucketize time. He just makes buckets.

Asked if he wants to burn the Suns, he said along the lines; One thing about being here, is that it isn't about a single player but a team. Its about winning, he would love to tourch the Suns but he is satisfied with a win.

He basically said what we all thought. HEAT didn't come into this game with a serous mentality. Sometimes great players/teams lose that edge from game to game and need to be tested.

Anyways clutch jumper by bron and BEAUTIFUL 2nd half by wade.

We just turned it on after realizing we couldn't just blow them out of the water with our outside shooting the way we did in the game before. Orlando also put in a better effort tonight than in the previous game, which is evidence of them actually going for the win just to make up for us embarrassing them at the Amway Arena.

when you beat the same team by 28 just the game before, not surprised it happened. but like always, they got back to business in the 2nd half and won

LOL Beasley.... that's low class man but hey, I kinda like having that type of no filter character in the team. He can tell it like it is sometimes and maybe it will open up some eyes.

*Sigh*

Spo C'mon man.

Anyway...

The #TwinStreak continues...

Not understanding Spo's logic on this one. Beas was the easy choice this game when our offense was stagnant.

I mean I understand if all things are equal (if they all are struggling)

But Beas kept the Heat from being down 20+.

Why not let Beas get some work over Shard? At least in this particular game.

I believe Spo has a plan. But he also must know when to "give the dog a bone"

He wants a Battier/Shard in there because he feels they are more reliable spot up shooters from three and hence open up the court for James.

On another note, this team is just so different from the rest of the teams in the league. We're coming off tremendous offensive games and are in sync but know to eventually win the title again, we need Wade, so this first quarter was all about getting Wade back in it. Well, that approach killed all of our flow, then we played disinterestedly, didn't play defense, and missed open shots and only scored 39 points in the first half. Just like that, James comes out like an animal, sets the tone, our threes start to fall and their threes start to miss, and we score 62 points in the half and win. Just crazy how these guys, especially Lebron can turn it on like that.

Ha

Basketball is one crazy game

We beat them by 30 in Orlando without wade but need a game winner with wade to win at home...NBA is so unpredictable.

Just came through in the end. Knew it wasn't going to be an easy blowout this time around. Glad to see that Wade showed up and played well down the stretch.

Only 2 peeves.

1. LeBron... Get a little more aggressive... Not much.. but c'mon man.. but also not 3 shots in a quarter and ending with less that 15 attempts a game.
2. Spo.. Play Beasley!!!!!

I think the man is worried about protecting his FG% to a fault, its a good thing to aspire to, but its almost become a detriment because he refuses to take anything less than a sure fire shot.

Which again, is good, but I guess can also be bad in that it seems he is less aggressive.

Does that make sense?

He might be a little concerned about FG% but not too much. I hardly fault him for anything because he's usually doing the right thing in so many different ways that people don't see. I think it's also about getting used to the level of play of your teammates.

After the game, when Bron spoke to Jax, he mentioned the fact that they're so used to everyone hitting their 3's that they kinda became complacent. This is another reason why we need Beasley and other players like Oden on the floor. These guys are hungry. Coming of back to back championships we might need other guys to sometimes motivate the entire team when there is a tendency to take it easy in the regular season.

Return to Miami Heat
