Any reason besides preseason hype? He's looked pretty bad so far..

Wow. Seeing Harrison that close to Exum is befuddling. Harrison has been extremely unimpressive imho.

You Aussies know it is fate right? Bucks will get the 6th overall pick and Exum will be the selection.

Milwaukee needs some luck, I mean it's in Wisconsin for starters!

Dante at 6 would be a glorious ray of sunshine into your frozen, winter wonderland. It obviously keeps us all around even longer and will make us even more annoying, so apologies in advance. :)

I think many on this forum would be thrilled to get Exum. I love our Aussie posters. Good on ya's all around.

 Please, no. I think Exum is a project for which none of us will have the patience for given the ready made studs in this draft.

If we're not in the top 3, I'm in a place right now of deciding amongst Embiid, Exum, and Smart. It's early. But, Ammo, as an fyi Exum is listed ahead of Parker in the last DraftXpress mock. There's a reason why he's considered top end lotto talent.

Exum at 6 would be amazing value, and as some of you know, I've been trying to throw a wet blanket on the Exum love around this place.

The rest of the college season will tell A TON. I for one am tracking EVERY game Wiggins, Parker, Randle, Smart, Embiid, Gordon are playing.

We will know so much more heading to March, just so long as the tank marches on through then!

The reason is hype from performing well at the USA vs Internationals game. I watched him play against fully grown professionals, the talent is unquestionable but he is raw.

Right. He has tremendous upside but many rough edges. He has demonstrated a carelessness with the ball at times, an inconsistent jumpshot, and some other weaknesses. But, damn, he's athletic as hell; has a great handle for a kid his age; he's very long and extremely athletic. What's not to love. We're still a few years away regardless so if we're sitting at 6 I'm probably hoping to decide between Exum and Embiid honestly. At this stage, I'll go big boom and hope one or the other develops alongside Giannis and they grow into something really special.

I'm terrified we are going to be thinking of Wiggins / Parker / Exum all year and end of with pick 8 and Glenn Robinson jr. Fine player but not the franchise changer we need.

Great video breakdown as usual by Draft Express on Exum for those who haven't seen,

Could be very, very special and there's a reason he is still listed as top 5 with all these college guys exploding. Would fit our insane length mantra having a 6"9 wingspan.

Exum / Middleton / Giannis / Henson / Sanders - is ridiculous with Exum being the least at 6"9...

He's no more raw than any of these guys. Other than Parker's offense.

It's not just 1 game, he was the standout at the u19 worlds as well. By playing against fully grown pros do you mean the Australia vs. NZ series?

If Exum slips out of the top-10, anything should be done to build around an Exum/Our Pick/Giannis core, short of trading Sanders (unless Larry regresses upon his return).

agreed. but that will not happen. The fact is, his draft stock can't really fall all that much since he isn't playing against any competition for us to change our opinion on him. Other guys stock will rise and fall around him, but he is what we know as of right now so I can't see him falling out of the top 5 or 6.

1. Parker
2.Embiid
3. Wiggins
4. Exum
5. Randle

Agree with many that Exum would be incredible value at 6. If I had to bet on where he goes at this point though I'd guess some team snatches him in the top 3 and I highly highly doubt he falls past four...

Yeahh I would absolutely love to have two top 10 picks but I just don't see how it would happen. We'd have to target an unsuspecting special Hammond-like GM... Detroit, Washington maybe Sacramento? Thinking of this makes me worry that we might see our GM set another franchise for the long term in exchange for a Monroe or something :-?
