Vikes PG: 1/2 game out of 1st B*tchez :-)

Post#1 » by whatthe_buck!? » Sun Nov 24, 2013 9:55 pm

Holy SH*T was that an all time great Packer game. Matt F*cking Flynn just went down forever in packer lore. I dont believe what I just watched. Mark my words, if we win next week in Detroit this comeback tie is gonna factor huge into the NFC North race. Oh and even with the clutch tie I'd be fine with firing the entire coaching staff after this one, thats just me though...

Eh, considering they were down what they were...I'll take it.

What. A. Mess

Not sure I'm thrilled we came out with a tie or angry we couldn't win that thing.

Our play calling in overtime when we got inside the 10 was horrendous.

Run up the middle into a ton of bodies
Run up the middle into a ton of bodies
Fade to the corner of the end zone

I'm starting to lose some faith in MM.

Considering we were down 23-7 late in the 3rd, maybe even starting the 4th? I'll take the tie.

Obviously the decision to start Tolzien should be questioned though Flynn definitely threw up some lame ducks himself.

How far have we fallen from grace when a tie feels like a win?

At least the Lions and Bears lost today. Thanksgiving is coming. I wonder if Rodgers will suit up? While Flynn had flashes of brilliance, he still struggled at key points.

I'll mostly eat my words mostly on the Flynn/Tolzien situation. Flynn looks more professional out there but my last shred of credibility is that his arm still doesn't look like anything special. Almost everything came on check downs (which was fine given the circumstances).

Yeah, given what happened with the other teams in our division today was overall a good day.

Absolutely brutal play calling on the first drive of over time.

I don't know how MM could consider playing Tolzien over Flynn. I hope he takes a beating for it from the media.

Offensive line really boned us horribly on that last drive.

F**k this team. Nice comeback and they absolutely **** the bed. They settle for two FGs, the defense gets shredded (and then lucky), and we throw short passes/20 yards of stupid penalties. F**k Mac. F**k Capers.

This had a chance of being great game. It wasn't. They tied with a crappy Minnesota team, at home.

Still control our own destiny. It'd be nice if Rodgers could come back.

My thoughts exactly. we may have just postponed our execution date for another week but at least we're finally going in the right direction in the standings. plus at least now we wont have to deal with losing a tiebreaker for a playoff spot to the bears (or anyone for that matter). Im just basically super happy cuz at the end of the 3rd i was sure the game was over

Hopefully Lacy's good for Thursday. I think Franklin had a concussion today, too, so likely he won't be cleared for Thursday.

Hello Orwin Smith?
