You know the situation is bad when people are clamoring FOR Temple to be the prime backup PG.

just curious if Maynor has been this bad in his whole career. Is there any hope at
all for a reversion to his normal level of poor.

Maynors current PER of 10 is slightly higher than his last two seasons.

He's at his normal level, overall. His PPA so far this season: 50. His career PPA before this season: 49. His career best PPA was 57 -- in 2010-11.

He looked like a promising back-up PG his first 2 seasons. However he got injured and hasn't had much production since.

That would require a free roster spot.

We are too-cheap to cut our losses with Singleton, ain't gonna happen. Nobody is getting waived on this roster.

With so much good news coming with players returning, I wanted to make sure the doom and gloomers had a place to post. :D

Totally unnecessary my friend. If they put up Maynor type numbers, they'll get their own thread. I treat our players equally here. :D

Hey, it wasn't more than a few weeks ago consensus on the board was Ves was the worst player in the league. Now I bet most only think he is 2nd worst with 3rd worst in reach.

Last year it was Okafor and Trevor A to start the year.
And Wall was a bust for several years.
And Webster was damaged goods. What was EG thinking ? Yi round two ?

I think the only player everyone liked was Beal. And even he had a bumpy start.

I'll hold off on Maynor being the worst in the league until we see him settle in and play with better line ups then Maynor, Temple, Webster, Booker and Ves. Not even sure a hot Wall would look good with that line up. One scoring option, two defenders and an undersized rebounder that doesn't defend his position well ?

It didn't have to be this way. Randy proved that last game by rotating the players better.

Maynor, Beal, Temple, Ves, Nene was better last game and
Maynor, Beal, Webster, Ves, Nene or
Maynor, Beal, Otto, Webster, Nene will be better in the future.

I'll wait to see him in some of these line ups before judging him to much.

^^^ Kinda contradictory don't you think? You say shame on those who called people like Trevor, Ves or Webster terrible, but give Maynor the benefit of the doubt because "look what he has to play with"...the same terrible players??

Lol placing Seraphin, Ves, Booker, Temple in the same lineups is setting him up for failure

Hands these guys are calling for Temple to run point. Who cant shoot, cant score and cant pass. And they act like they know anything about basketball.

All they need is Maynor to be the steady hand to spell Wall for 12 to 15 minutes. Which he has.

Stop the bs, troll. Maynor was getting minutes with Webster and Harrington, who stunk it up when Maynor was running the offense.

And just to inform you, Maynor can't shoot, score, nor pass either. He's a d-league scrub at this point. The only thing steady with Maynor is his propensity to suck.
