Yeh lets not start overrating beal, i agree that nene is the best player on the team, then wall then beal. It's not really arguable at this point.
Hopefully wittman starts limiting beal's minutes a bit, he is playing way too much. His production per minute could increase significantly as a result.

Overrating?
His actions speak louder than any words. BB is a beast!

Btw, Nene's PER is up to 19.8 with a TS% of .60. Since he opened his mouth, he's played at an all-star level.

Keep in mind that Beal is playing 40 minutes per game and PER is a per minute stat. Averaging 3.5 assists and 4 rebounds in 40 minutes isn't that impressive. His scoring efficiency is mediocre due to his poor 2 pt percentage and lack of free throws.
Try comparing his numbers to Afflalo. Beal's 3 point shooting is impressive but the rest of his game isnt, at least not yet.
Keep in mind that Afflalo is a 28 year old in his 7th NBA season while Beal is a 20 year old in his second season...and Beal is already arguably as good (or better) than Afflalo.
In terms of this years stats Beal isn't even close to Afflalo and the question was about stats. I didn't say i would be willing to trade Beal for Afflalo but so far this season there is no argument as to who is playing better.
Afflalo scores at a higher rate with with a TS that is 12% higher than Beal. He gets more rebounds and assists than Beal. He is even shooting better than Beal from 3.

Yup, there's no question that, at this point, Afflalo is having a better season than Beal stat wise. But, at 28 Aaron is probably at or near the peak of his career and he's not a hell of a lot better than the 20 year old Beal. Just imagine how good Double B might be when he reaches the peak of his career.

If Beal could average over a season what Afflalo is doing so far this season that would be great. I would be just fine with it if that is his ceiling. Anyone averaging over 20 ppg with a TS of 60% or better is beasting.
I am definitely getting worried that Beal is getting too fond of long 2s. His 2 pt percentage of 38% is bad and trending in the wrong direction. He gets to the foul line half as often as Afflalo.
Other than shooting 3s Beal hasn't been doing anything well offensively. He seems to work hard on D but his rebounding is weak as well. He seems to be leaking out early on defense too much trying to cherry pick.

Very rarely am i wrong
but Beal/ Wall combo is sick. Sure Beal is going to have some stinkers...but the guy has the right attitude, energy, and hustle. He is going to have some stinkers but I like that each game i see something totally different that he has improved upon whether making a nice dribble move, moving the ball around after jumping off one foot and forcing the defense to foul him, or fighting through screen to stay with his man. Even if he isn't scoring, he is giving you tons of intangibles.
Build your team w/5 shooters using P. Pierce Form deeply bent hips and lower back arch at same time b4 rising into shot. Elbow never pointing to the ground! Good teams have an engine player that shoot volume (2000 full season) at 50 percent.Large Hands

What is this?
@BillSimmons: More bummer injury news: hearing Bradley Beal reaggravated last spring's leg injury, and that the Wiz are worried he'll miss extended time.
Say it ain't so!

Can confirm that Bradley Beal has been experiencing some soreness in his right leg & got checked out today. Can't speculate on rest #wizards

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Fire Witt ASAP for playing this kid 42 minutes per game and let EG go after him for giving him Garrett Temple as his top back up. You have to f-ing kidding me. So now we'll play Wall 45 minutes and he'll take 30 shots a game. And he's playing with a bad back.
Unreal that he would play a 20-year old kid still growing that had health issues all of last. That's f-ing irresponsible.

I doubt he will unleash him if Ariza is back. Temple at least defends. Rice might a few minutes here and there.

Say it with me
EFJ
That's why I was saying to weave in the bench players like Temple instead of playing Beal for entire multiple quarters a game.
Instead, Randy broke the RealBeal.
Summer stress fracture.. ?
Play him the most mins in the year to start the year.

Re: Bradley Beal - Part II
if its a stress reaction, it is usually a 3-4 week healing time I think. God I hope the MRI comes back negative and I don't have to shove a spoon up my ass.
