In hindsight, who would have been the best fit for the Wolves in the 2011 NBA Draft at No. 2?

This was the draft that everybody was saying there was not a guy, no player, that 1 person you can actually build a franchise around him. Kyrie only played 11 games for his entire college career and Klay was pretty much a guy that a lot of teams slept on because of his lack of athleticism. This draft consisted of good role players (Kawhi, Kemba, Valanciunas, Vucevic, Faried, Reggie Jackson, Butler). Minnesota was just in a really horrible draft position at #2.

It's incredible what Cleveland did despite of Derrick Williams case: (i) undersized power forward (ii) for a position already filled with a lottery pick.
People can mention that talent takes precedence over position of need, but only when you talk about not drafting Jordan when you have Drexler (or Detroit in 2003) or one of the top five picks of this next draft.

Hindsight's 20:20. Virtually any team would have taken Derrick Williams. Isn't Julius Randle an "undersized power forward?"
