Hawks vs. Rockets (Thanksgiving Eve)

Bounce back game for us against a loaded up Houston Rockets team. This was suppose to be the game where Kyle Korver tied Dana Baros' all time 3 point streak record, but Kyle didn't make the trip because of a rib contusion. Shelvin Mack also stayed in Atlanta so we'll see a lot more of Das Wunderkind Dennis Schroder.

I'd just like to take this moment to wish everyone on here a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving. GO HAWKS!!

No Shelvin, No Kyle, No Lou, No win. Well, at least we know that John Jenkins and Dennis are gonna get some burn tonight. I'll be watching this one hoping that Osik gets in and dominates when he's in there. Bring him home, Danny boy!!!

Cartier Martin will get the start in Korver's place tonight.

Disappointed Jenkins is NOT getting the start tonight. Jenkins can provide the underwhelming defense/passing Korver does, right?

WEith Cartier and Dermarre both starting...how much defense but no offense can we handle?

We are down by 8 right now but Dennis and Cartier are looking good out there tonight. Its a homecoming game for Cartier so I guess he's trying to show off for the homies.

Family gathering - can't watch. ESPN box looks bad but maybe Schroder and Jenkins are doing well? What'm I missing?

So, once again, we falter at the end. Did we at least wait until the 4th this time?

We did actually. We were down by 13 and brought it back down to 3 on two separate occasions, but we couldn't defend to save our lives. Francisco Garcia and Terrence Williams killed us. Some positives: Cartier had a homecoming to remember, scoring 14 points and knocking down 4 threes, all in the 2nd half. Schroder had a nice game, he's got speed and can penetrate at will, Dennis has some god given tools for success.

Terrence Williams? :o
i think you meant Terrence Jones
isn't Aaron Brooks the one that's actually on fire?
Terrence Williams was once a Rocket but not anymore
don't think he's in the league now (i think last season he was with Celtics)

My mistake, I sometimes get my Terrence's mixed up. But yes, Brooks was also killing us, Jones especially caught fire in the first quarter.
