Waiters - 24 points against the Heat and got to the rim over and over. Dude plays pg at times and is developing a more consistent 3 point shot. Wade just shown giving him some words of wisdom.

If I found out the Knicks are turning down a Shump for Waiters trade ill lose my mind. Shump is solid but needs a change of scenery. Dion has star potential and needs a change of scenery.

Only way Waiters works is if you get rid of Jr Crip. But Waiters can handle the ball, penetrate, and he's a tough kid. But we have so many chuckers already that you'd have to move one or two of them to let Waiters do his thing.

Those are Highlights.

I can make a highlight mix that could make Iman Shumpert look like Wilt Chamberlain mixed with Shaq type finisher around the basket.

I am a big fan of Waiters game. He isn't much of a shooter, but he's tremendous as a slasher, and isn't a bad defender.

He'd actually be a great fit, because he tries to attack the rim, and he can finish around the rack.

He wouldn't be my #1 choice to trade Shumpert for, but if nothing else out there is available, I'd definitely take him

I don't like Waiters. The team needs an high IQ player (see Kidd) who must dictate the offense. Shumpert only for a Rondo/Dragic type of player.

For Knicks: Waiters rookie contracts is for 3 more seasons. Can potentially play PG.

For Cavs: Shump needs a fresh start & can fit very nicely next to Kyrie Irving. Rudy Gay expires same time as Varejao (after next season) & provides more as SF is a true need for them. Gay also provides major offense help that Irving needs. I put Varejao, but essentially, they could switch him Bynum if they prefer to keep Varejao.

For Raptors: Helps their tank. They acquire the 1st pick of the last draft. Puts Bennett at PF instead of SF where he's a better fit & can slowly & patiently develop him next to Big V.

Why would the Cavs give up Waiters, Varejao and Bennett for Shumpert, Gay's bad deal and a future 1st that's protected?

If you took Bennett out I can understand that deal for all 3. Uriji would laugh at that deal and happily take it even if he has to endure one more year of Amare's deal.

In a classic Knicks fashion, we have waited until Shump's stock has sunk to an all time low. We can't get anything of value for him right now.
