All NBA defense of Allen, but with solid scoring ability.

Better than solid. I was never sold on Smart, but he's made some drastic improvements to his game.

Eh, I want to see more consistency before I'm ready to say that. Even with the two games that he blew up from 3 point range, he's shooting a poor percentage from 3. And he still isn't much of a passer or ball handler.

His ball handling and passing are fine for being a scoring guard. He's not Kyrie Irving or Steve Nash in those departments, but he's going to be able to dribble in the lane and initiate the offense. His potential reminds me of what Tyreke Evans should be.

His scoring is solid, sure. But I think his intangibles (and yes, his defense) is what we'll see translate best during his career in the NBA - Mike Conley Jr. basically. If he works really hard on his handles and playmaking, Jason Kidd. I'm a math major, so I'm always showing my work :D

Fair enough. I agree that if he gets significantly better in terms off ball handling and passing that he'll be a special player. But I don't think it's a safe bet to say that he will.

I'm beginning to get very, very impressed by Joel Embiid.

It's the little things like jumping before the catch of every entry pass. He's been playing weak competition, but combining how he catches the ball with how he's sealing the defender off, it's almost a sure two points once he has it in his soft hands.

There's a little bit of Oden to him.

27 points on 12 shots for Parker at the moment. Man that dude can score. He's easily one of the best scorers I've ever seen at his age.

I've spent too much time researching him in the last day, but he's my early season draft crush. Wish the Bucks had another 1st.

Outside of top 10 if we got another pick I want Selden, he'll probably be top 10 by draft time though.

Agreed with both parts of this post. I was sold on him the moment he threw an absolutely gorgeous pass into his big man against Duke. It was an amazing pass.

Yeah, I love him too. I'm a Cuse student though (but I'm generally pretty hard on our players). I really liked MCW as a pro prospect, and I really like Grant as a pro prospect. His athleticism is off the charts, and he's a great rebounder. I see him as a face-up 4 if he adds some bulk to his frame personally, but some see him as a long SF. I just don't think he can stretch the floor enough to be a 3. But man, if he develops a mid-range game and becomes more disciplined on the defensive end (right now, he jumps around more than a rabbit mixed with a kangaroo), he's going to be a GREAT player. As a Cuse fan, I was hoping it would take him one more year to develop enough to be a lottery pick, but these past few games he's stepped up big time.
