I felt the same thing. Thought I was alone. Why on earth did he way for the Bucks to trim the lead all the way down before letting Wall re-enter the game...makes no sense. Was wondering if he was subconsciously trying to sabotage the team's chances of pulling away from the Bucks.

Just looked at the boxscore: ves was 2/2 at the line. How did that happen? :o

Ves wasnt great but solid enough. Everyone is killing our bench now but we could look ok if we get Beal, Al, & Porter healthy one day or down the stretch of the season. By then though, our starters may be so worn down that it wont matter

Good point about Ves. He had a decent game as well. I thought he really put an effort in grabbing boards and he rotated well on the P&R.

It was easily the most eye-popping start of the night. It should definitely make the ESPN top 10 plays of the week

It's a confidence thing. He played well tonight...those deserved to go in.

I think he also would have had 4 more points if some passes weren't completely out of reach on some lobs. He did alright in man D against Henson I thought, but I suppose that is cause they are both lacking in the girth department.

You're pretty good at this soliloquy. You even manage to make your self laugh with every sentence you type, but we are all hilarious.

As a Bucks fan, i just want to thank your Wizards team for handing us a 10th straight loss and hopefully you win again vs the Bucks on December 6th. Just in that game, please win more easily. I got to worried we might pull out the win tonight once the game went to OT.

Good luck the rest of the year also. The East is so bad, you could finish .500 and get a 4th seed.

Parker/Wiggins would look good on your team. Good luck tanking! In typical Wiz fashion, we decided to be good this year

This was exactly the kind of game Wiz teams would typically lose. But this group kept fighting and gutted out the win. Webster is mega-clutch and Gortat also stepped up. And who can deny the "Vesely effect"? :D

Can't wait to see how if they can give Indy a run! Go Wiz!

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Even with an injury to their leading scorer, the Wizards are still able to be competitive. They really are on the road to quality play. Lets hope it continues. Beal, Webster and Ariza are great players to have on the wing. Assuming Porter leaves the witness protection program soon, we'll have even more depth there. As long as Wall is healthy, and perhaps Gortat, I see us staying competitive.

Wrong again....

Hands always looks on the bright side of things, but Rico doesn't even see any other side!

edit to point out how lucky these guys are to have me to balance them, right?

Yeah this was a good win, it would not of been surprising to see them lose this but they pulled it out. On the road in freezing Milwaukee on a back to back, against a reeling team that really isn't that bad, without Beal.

I like what Vesely has been bringing surprisingly. He missed a cake layup, and had a couple balls in his gut he dropped out of bounds, but his effort and length add an element to this team off the bench. He kinda fills a similar need as Booker but in a different way, but as effective, and seems to have supplanted Book role off the bench for us.

Once healthy and up to full speed, if it ever happens, the bench will look better with Vesely, Harrington, Booker, Porter, Webster, Temple.

Maynor is a problem, and I cringe whenever he comes in the game. He brings down the entire bench. If we had a decent to good backup point it would make a big difference. A true stud rebounder off the bench would be nice too. If only we could somehow swap out Seraphin and Maynor for Blair and Nate Robinson.
