Realize that Wiggins is playing with a lot of talent on KU; Perry Ellis, Wayne Selden, and Joel Embiid.

Duke doesn't have anywhere near the talent that KU has and their offense relies on Jabari and Rodney Hood. Even when Rodney Hood goes cold Duke can only rely on Jabari like they did depending on him to get them clutch buckets against 'Bama last night so he has more opportunities to shine.

Kentucky is supposed to be unbeatable, but they've been exposed. The Harrison twins, Alex Poythress, and James Young have been very inconsistent and underwhelming. So of course Randle has to pick up the scoring slack much like Jabari at Duke.

What I will say is that Wiggins does lack a lot of polish in his game.

For such a hyped #1 overall prospect hes been very underwhelming.

He plays a completely different role for his team than each of those players. And he's played that role very well.

I dislike how the Kansas offense uses their wings. Parks them at the 3PT line and uses them as ball swingers or 3PT shooters. No P&R, no curls, very little player movement.

I understand the reasoning in not changing a working system, but why would you utilize athletic wings (Wiggins/Selden) like that?

Finally they decide to have some player movement on offense. Good plays.

If Wiggy plays for Duke in Jabari's role with all the shooters spreading the floor around him, he'd dominate in similar ways, even w/ less developed skills.

Nice attack off the kick out. Don't settle for the jumpshot.

Selden can slash using that blink of explosive quickness, I'm even more impressed w/ that body control.

It's brutal for Wigs that he's gotta play 3 games in 3 days (potentially) while sick. Still finished with 17 (season avg so far)

Good game by the rest of the team, particularly Embiid and Mason.

Wiggins was apparently sick and looked it. But he came through down the stretch for them. I thought Embiid was KU's best player once again when he was actually on the court, though. Mason was also good.

Looks like I missed all his scoring at the end. Agree that Embiid was their best player today (of the 3/4 game I saw). Each game I see a flash of something new with him. Today he made two really difficult finishes; one on a reverse and the other a quick catch and lay-in with his off-hand on the fast-break.

Just an amazing athlete for his size. Great hands and feel too. Got in some foul trouble today which limited his minutes, but he's going to be starting for KU very soon.

Embiid's definitely athletically gifted, but I'm most impressed by his intelligence. He keeps the game simple but it's very elegant ironically.

Lets trade away the current team for picks to grab the Kansas kids.

Imagine a trio of Wiggins, Seldon, Embiid going forward. I'd trade Val for Embiid.
