[Game 16] Rockets vs Hawks - 11/27 Game Thread

I was at work, so I only saw the highlight reel.

TJ is definitely the answer at PF. We no longer "need" a PF. It'll be interesting to see how he goes against some of the leagues Elite PF's. Yes, he was arguably playing against two of them tonight, however it will be interesting to see a larger sample size to judge. Can he do what he is doing right now consistently is the question.

We need to keep Brooks in the rotation. Simple.

Good to see Garcia warm up after mediocre play the last 6 games or so. For this team to work, we need him and Casspi to keep contributing consistently as well. I can handle slightly lower numbers, as long as you can keep the same pace.

It looked like Howard really protected the paint well. I can't say I saw Asik in the game, he wasn't even on the highlight reel. But looking at his box score, he did well.

Parsons is easily my favourite Rocket at the moment. Anyone willing to send me a Parsons Jersey from Houston?? I'll be damned if I'm paying NBA.com $50.00 for P/H I might live in Australia, but no way it costs that much to send a Jersey in a Postpack bag to Australia. He needs the ball more.

I am loving Rockets ball at the moment. I am not stupid enough to think that we are contenders yet. But W/C Finals is definitely achievable if we keep playing this well.

Our defense needs to be better though. Again the consistency thing.

Asik was awesome last night. Great moves in the paint. Soiid man defense. Even outrebounded Howard in 6 less minutes played.

I haven't seen any Parsons 25 jerseys at the stores. Maybe the one at Toyota Center but all I see are 7, 12 and 13.

Agreed everyone looked good tonight and Parsons/Jones/Dwight looking better with each game. Parsons gets better each year with his dribble, and Jones has a great feel for the game. I'm gonna have to look into getting myself a jersey too. I'm not sure I like that Christmas day look, might look for a Parsons jersey in the alt. style.

I guess without one of their "Rocket Killers" in Deron Williams it should be an easy win with the way the Nets have been playing, but Terry is still on that team even though he suck vs. HOU last year im still wary.

we should save him for the spurs. I think our current roster can beat the nets. There defense is atrocious.

Parsons going to have a good game i bet. It's a perfect match up for him. He could probably play the point forward in this game.
TJones vs. KG should be an interesting thing to watch. TJone is going to out hustle him so hard.
Howard does a good job against brook lopez.

We just have to watch out for joe johnson. If we lock him down it should be an easy game. Paul pierce is terrible now.
