That Utah team is set up so nicely,

Burke / Burks / Wiggins or Parker / Favors / Kanter

Ridiculous...

You're forgetting Hayward too. He'd slide over to SG if they get Wiggins or Parker.
Hayward is a RFA but they're more than likely going to match any offer made to him.

A lot of people were saying the same thing about Beasley/Rose back in the day.

Haha yes absolutely forgot about Hayward. Really like his game and I think he is a guy who will look really good when he doesn't have to be the #1 guy, and can feed off a star wing like Wiggins or Parker can be. Not sure about giving him the max though...

Smart is moving up my board quickly. I certainly have him in the top 3. He might be number 2 for me right now.

I have pretty much only watched highlights on these guys, but I am really high on acquiring a competitor like Smart. He is like the potential of Eric Bledsoe fulfilled. If you really want to change this franchise, getting two lottery picks goes along way in getting that done.

OK St. held on. Smart missed 3 FTs in the final minute. Still have him ranked #2.

It's kind of crazy how one rough minute down the stretch of a close game can sour one's opinion of a player quickly. Smart turns the ball over, Maggette's his way to the free throw line only to go 0 for 2, and then misses the front end of a one and one. OK State barely survives and the verdict is still out on whether this guy can be "the guy."

Yeah if Utah gets Parker I would sign and trade Hayward or let him walk, somebody can correct me that knows more about both players than me but in my mind their skills are somewhat redundant. Not that they couldn't play together, I just wouldn't want half my salary cap going to both those guys.

And to go back to Parker being Morman, I didnt know that fact either until recently but now that I do I'm psyched about because I'm to this point still (barely) a Wiggins guy (mostly because, as a tiebreaker, I think a 2-3 fits our roster better than a 3-4) and with Utah being the only team ahead of us as far as lottery balls I like the idea that they could get the number 1 pick and we could still have Wiggins available at pick 2...

It's tough to tell his exact position because of his role on a very small Duke team. I don't think teams will probably play him at SG but he posseses non-wing skills that I just don't see Wiggins having, making Parker much more versatile. He doesn't have quite the fluidity of a TMac so I'll back away from my earlier comments about him playing the 2. Do you guys think the Bucks would try Giannis at the 2? I don't see him having quick enough feet for that

Beasley had the talent. He failed because of the mental part of the game. Parker's make up is as good as it gets.

I'd be shocked if Parker isn't, at worst, a very good NBA player who makes multiple All-Star games.

When talking about position you have to look at who they can guard. Offensively, positions really don't matter. LeBron technically starts at PF for Miami but he's basically the PG.

With the new, smaller NBA, I think a future frontline of Giannis at the 3 and Parker at the 4 would be very dynamic if we went that route. I also think Giannis could guard SGs if we wanted to bump those guys up to SG and SF.

If Gordon can continue to defend Parker well, I think that would go a long ways for his draft stock.

Duke needs to get Parker the ball in the post. Their guards do a terrible job of that.

Other games I'd agree, but he isn't getting positioning this game.

He was for the first 3-4 minutes this game and they couldn't/wouldn't give him the ball so he started floating outside so he could actually get touches.

Duke guards are brain dead.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
