Didn't see much from Wiggins in the first half. He needs to pick it up if Kansas is going to win.

It is a major concern, IMO.

Paul George's was really high entering the league, too. It might not ever be point guard low, but given the quality of athlete Wiggins is, it isn't like he's locked into that high of a handle.

Natural ball handling is a skill players have or they don't by the time they enter college. After that, it is just developing moves off of their basic handle. Wiggins' basic handle is primitive even for a late 1st SG/SF prospect.

George had questions about his handle entering the league, but he was very comfortable handling the ball with both hands in basic situations (including in the open court on the break). His problems arose when he forced the issue, which he did much more than Wiggins has. He's been able to develop a larger offensive game based mainly around his excellent jump shot.

...primitive is, well, a leap.

Why isn't Wiggins in?

I don't know if it's wiggins or self but this game is horrible for wiggins. As a sf he has to be able to bring the ball up the court sometimes. Especially if he's going to be a go to guy. He's just a guy out there tonight and barely playing at that.

He hasn't brought the ball up the court the entire season. He's strictly an off the ball offensive player.

Some on the GB have compared him to Marion offensively since he's very active and nearly all of his points come from playing off of other players.

Yeah. If his name wasn't Wiggins, I don't think anyone would be paying attention to him. He is just kind of standing around. Doesn't even look like the best player on the court.

Tonight, sure. But for the season, no way. He's the leading scorer and best defender on the #2 team in the country. He'd get attention regardless of his high school accolades.

It is an adventure any time he puts the ball on the floor.

Wiggins def has a high dribble and its getting stripped easily on some drives. He also couldn't establish position against a much smaller player in the post either. But flashes are there his spin move in traffic is ridiculous.

It seems like their offense makes literally zero attempt to feature wiggins. And I wouldn't argue if you called wiggins passive, but he's clearly not a chucker and ges also a willing passer

Do the Bucks have enough to acquire Embiid, outside of Giannis and their pick?

Sanders or Henson and change? Both? A future first?

It doesn't look like he working much on the defensive end this game. A lot times the shots have gone up and he just kind of stands there.

He has definitely flashed a nice step back jumper and the spin move in the lane, but not much else this game.

Someone said that he has the flu so maybe that is part of the problem.

I doubt it, but who knows there are some terrible GMs out there. After seeing embiid tonight, I'd trade anything for the right to draft him except our pick (Gianni's included and I love Gianni's). Starting with a foundation of embiid and one of wiggins/Parker/randle would be ridiculous

Probably not. Would take a team in desperate win-now mode for sure.

If the Nets don't pull it together soon, they could feasibly land around there. Their pick would go to the Hawks in that scenario and I could see them interested in Larry. Maybe New Orleans too since their owner wants to win.

A 3 way-deal seems unlikely. Ending up with two picks in the top 6 would definitely require a change of trousers for me.
