Ready for B Mac's Thanksgiving madness?

Minny has lost 3 straight, and after a torrid start are really starting to slow down. Their next 4 games are @Dallas, @OKC, vs SAS, & vs MIA. They will be lucky to win more than one of these games.. Let's say that the downward spiral continues and by the middle of January they are looking like a fringe playoff team again. Let's also say that Bynum continues on the same path, and really isn't impacting games. You have to think that the T'Wolves would have to at least listen to offers for Love. So, with that in mind, would you do this?

To Minnesota:
Thompson
Waiters
Bynum (Partially Guaranteed contract that immediately saves the Wolves massive cap)
2014 Cavs 1st round pick

To Cleveland:
Love
Shved (to make salary work)

http://basketball.realgm.com/tradecheck ... de/6365010

Irving/Jack/Delly
Miles/Shved/Felix
Gee/Karasev
Love/Clark/Bennett
Varejao/Zeller/Sims

It's a pretty big price to pay, but Love is a superstar, and this is a superstar league. We would then have two superstars on the same team and with a few roster moves (Varejao, Gee, etc..) in the offseason still have enough room to offer a max contract to you know who..

Irving/Jack
Karasev/Felix
James/Clark
Love/Bennett
FA or Draft/Zeller

We would obviously need to fill the starting center role with a defensive oriented kind of guy and could use some more back court help, but you would have to think there would be a couple vet ring chasers who would see the Irving/James/Love trio as an instant title favorite and sign on for a year or two. That would be one of the most balanced big 3's of all time and if you surround them by guys committed to playing D would really fit into Coach Brown's philosophy.

Chances of happening <5%, but it's the holiday season, so I might as well put my wish list out there.

Happy Thanksgiving guys.

I think Wolves fans say you are hitting the Christmas Ale a little early this year.

Any interest in a Mcgee for Andrew Bynum trade?

I should start posting random star PFs to Cleveland ideas in the T&T board to balance out the insanity there.

Chicago owns the rights to that pick from the Tyrus Thomas deal.

Yup. You read that right. Tyrus Thomas.

they do own two other firsts so they could swap

Hawks fan,

Not gonna happen, but let's say Irving is the one who gets moved.

Teague/Schroeder/Jenkins/Pick for Irving/Jack

How close is that to working?

Otherwise what would you want for Waiters?

Probably not at all. That pick would have to be solid, as well as the Cavs would have to project Schroeder as a superstar kind of kid to do so. Waiters is much more achievable, though.

Bennett, Clark, Gee and 2015 Portland #2 for Horford.

Raptors fan, I like Dion Waiters a lot, what would it take to get something done?

Knicks 2016 1st + Landry Fields for Waiters ? Fields is known as a high character locker room guy, sounds like you need that now

Character is always overrated. I don't want anyone on the team who is not upset with losing by 30 to mediocre teams. No way would I give up Waiters for a 2016 pick, no telling where anything is at that time.

We can swap picks with the Nets so I was assuming they stay terrible.

I do like the idea of Cleveland making a bigger move than just a "potential" Waiters swap for a Turner or Shumpert.

To me, Waiters should be combined with things like Bennett, Varejao, and some of those "iffy value" future 1sts like Miami, Sacramento, and Memphis for a Horford/Korver package. As an Indy fan, we took off when when we added a vet in David West who willed this team to win. I think Horford could be that, while Korver would be a great stabilization at the SF spot. Plus, Horford could play with Tristan, Bynum, or Zeller at the 4/5 spots. Lastly, if you planned on waiving Andy after his year to play free agency and free up around $4m, then ultimately, Cleveland only adds around $4m in salary for next year. If you had planned on keeping Andy, then it doesn't affect free agency at all and you'd still have the ability to clear around $16m in cap space for free agency. If you can move Jack for an expiring this year, then you're at a max contract in cap space for a certain "you know who".

The Cavs are not going to like the offers they get for Waiters. I don't see him getting moved.

If Dion can't find his way in this team chemistry and production wise, there won't be an option. They'd have to trade him for anything they could at that point. If he did have an issue with Kyrie and Tristan, it may be better to simply move Dion sooner eager Han later, or it could tear any chance For this team to be successful apart.
