What a joke Tharpe didn't lob that to his running mate. Sit down point guard.

Great defensive possession by him just now too - 2 changed shots and 1 block.

If I absolutely had to choose between all of the prospects right now, I would choose Embiid. His ceiling is that high.

He's definitely looking great today.

I've noticed a few times now in the past couple of games where there are alley-oop opportunities for wiggins but he doesn't get the pass. I wonder what's up with that.

Tharpe is a b*tch.
Even when Wiggins is wide-open behind the arc, he just looks at him and doesn't pass the ball.

That''s the ball game folks.

Wiggins finishes with 6 points and 6 rebounds.

Continues to impress defensively!

Continues to shy away from the ball on the offensive end. :/

I think if we're going to sum up Wiggins with one word, it's gotta be: timid.

Could be from feeling himself out early on in the season, but there's definitely some shyness/timidity from asserting himself.

Still got the win, but I don't think I've ever seen a player make as many mindless plays in a late game situation as Mason did there. Self pulled Embiid late and it seemed to completely mess them up. Not easy coaching freshmen up to play together.

With each game that passes more and more I'm convinced Parker is the better choice.

I think he's following the coaches game plans and let's the game come to him. As the season progresses, his numbers will go up.

I don't think there's any question that Parker is the better player - right now. But it doesn't mean he's the better prospect. Wiggins might just need a little more time to discover his equilibrium on the team (and college game) and take charge again - or he may not do that at all. That's why we play the games. :D

Some players can come right into a new situation and start chucking with no conscience.

Why can Wiggins get better, but Parker can't? Parker is younger than Wiggins.

Parker is pretty clearly the more polished scorer of the two, but he's got less athleticism/tools to work with, which makes his ceiling a little lower. At least that's my take..

He's closer to being a "known quantity" in terms of - you know what you're going to get from him, whereas you see that Wiggins has a lot of room to grow.
