I really hated that IT & Thornton partnership off the bench. They do NOT make others better when those two are on the court at the same time. Both do NOT pass the ball and look to "get theirs" instead.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing all game long. Gotta love Williams, though.

It was great to see players out there that were willing to play team ball, and even better seeing athleticism for once!

Thornton is a turd on a log. His poor attitude & chucker mentality suck. I would like to see him, Thompson, and Salmons traded soon. I don't care what we get in return, just want them all gone.

There was a play in overtime where Williams rolled to the basket and Vasquez missed him. It would have been an easy dunk. It was the possession where Cousins lost the ball out of bounds.

I thought McLemore should have looked for his shot a little more. He seems shy.

Other than that best game I have been to since Tyreke's rookie year.

Yeah, I agree. But who is stupid enough to trade for them!?

Just got back from the game and WOW, Williams and McLemore were AMAZING out there. The Kings are now athletic. Not even in the glory days were we athletic! I swear I saw more alley-oops in this one game than I have in the last few years of Kings basketball combined. Great game. We just could not contain Jamal Crawford for the life of us, and the Clips' D came through when they needed it the most. Hats off to them.

But back to what matters--THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT. The Vasquez/McLemore/Williams connection is going to re-brand the Kings. If you did not watch the highlights, you need to stop what you're doing and get on youtube right now.

And yeah, about Thomas and Thornton...talk about black holes. Neither give any dambs about getting anyone involved. This 6th man of the year hype is affecting Thomas' game to the point where all he seems to care about is maintaining or increasing his scoring average. And any time Thornton touches it, 80-90% chance he's jacking something up.

The usual props to Cousins. Jordan got him a couple of times, but he embarrassed both Jordan and Griffin on many occasions. He is a beast down low and he got his mid-range J going tonight.

All in all, this is as good as it gets for a loss.

Great to see Williams looking good in his new home. Hope he is able to flourish in Sacramento.

I still don't get why so many on here want JT gone. He is the only person outside of DMC with size. Hayes is a midget and ndiaye is too raw with no offense. He brings effort but I don't see him playing a big role. JT's versatility is a value for this team. Tonight was a good example. He played good D on Blake and allowed us to put DMC on the other teams less talented big (Jordan) which allowed DMC to stay out of foul trouble. I get JT is slightly overpaid but he is an asset to this team.

It will be great if we can trade salmons and Thornton. We should just give Hayes to San Antonio so he has a chance at acting, he would fit nicely with that team.

Happy to see Dwill has found a home. As long as he is aggressive, he should flourish

Best game I've attended since the James Johnson game winner. So many exciting plays...all from the Kings.

Trade was a win win for both teams. The Caged Lion has finally been unleashed.

I've been hearing "Lion" metaphors or phrases when in association with Derrick Williams -- mainly on the Wolves board. Is that a forum nick name or something? I've heard "Lion King" as well.
