This ranking uses average seconds of possession between passes as the metric. The issue with that is that the point guard brings up the ball for anywhere from 3-7 seconds up the court. If it measured average seconds of possession between passes in the half court only, I bet guys like Nick Young, Melo, Rudy Gay ect...would top the list.

As much as I give Smith flak for his low BBIQ and long 2/ohgodwtf3, he's a willing passer and it balances it out, most of the time. So to label him a black hole is a bit unfair IMO.

to get a true chucker stat youd have to combine usage%/TS%/ast.% somehow, not time of ball possession. but, it doesnt surprise me that BJ is at the top of any chucker list.
