GT: Rockets vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Sat Nov 30, 2013 3:50 pm

When: 8:30 PM ET, November 30, 2013
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

Tonight could be rough one after traveling from Orlando last night but its also a game we need to win against a divisional rival.

Go Spurs!!

As a Rockets fan I am very encouraged by this win tonight.

The San Antonio Spurs are the barometer of excellence as far as I'm concerned as a Texas sports fan. I'm still not ready to take the Rockets in a seven game series against the Spurs, but after tonight I am more confident that it will be a fight if it happens.

You raised the bar, San Antonio - now we're going to try to reach for it!

McHale with some bush league crap to end the half. He should be fined for that.

And WTF was with the Harden 3 shot foul? We clearly fouled Duhwight?! Bad call by the refs.

Kawhi needs to step up. He's not playing very well this season. He has stretches of brilliance, but I don't see much that he's added to his game compared to last season. Belinelli is a basketball genius.

That's what happens when you're lead by mental midgets. Duhwight is a chump and Harden just flings himself at the D in the hopes of getting to the line. I'm embarrassed to lose to this team, particularly at home.

14-3 and we're still not playing that well. These are games that teams like Houston live for, trying to convince people they are better than they really are. Really good teams lay it all out and win in May and June, not November. I'm not too concerned yet.

Chandler Parsons sort of remind me to Manu Ginobili and I don't really know why.
