The Bulls are tanking...maybe we can make a play for Noah? Little injury prone but so is Pau, he doesn't take plays off, tremendous hustler, great PNR defender, solid passer, very reasonable contract for a big man of his caliber.

a loss doesn't always require someone to blame even if some players/coaches are more at fault than others. team gave a great effort, specifically the bench, just came up short. proud of the effort from them, on to the next one.

Pau is due for a big game against Sacramento, but I guess Cousins is gonna making him his b****.

I'd watch effort like this all day. The last 4 seasons have been filled with arrogant malaise. I'm fine with this loss.

I agree with you, not saying the opposite

Ahh the Pau apologist are here. Start watching the game with your glasses on if you cant see how horrible he played. He's suppose to be our best player on the roster right now. Stop making excuses for that performance. He's suppose to anchor that starting unit on both ends of the court. I expect ALOT more out of him so thats why I'm not giving him any excuses. Your best player cannot get owned like that. Even if his shot isn't falling they're other aspects of the game that he can have an impact on the game

With Thibs as your head coach is impossible to tank. Until February I don't see the Bulls FO making any trade, and that would be in case they are a low-seed. Bulls are going to make the PlayOffs, the East is hideous.

If they move Noah it would be in Draft night or in the summer. The only ones that I can see being trade are Boozer or Deng.

I thought Sacre did a tremendous job when he was on the floor. He shows the fundamentals that you'd expect as a 4 year college player and he's a big body as well. He's surprisingly mobile when he hedges PNR and on rotations, obviously a good paint protector. Just a solid backup big to have on your roster.

Xavier did a much better job running point than I anticipated-found Rob for some easy layups in the paint. That crossover he has is pretty sweet and obviously we know he can draw fouls. He went right a few times but he's still left dominant...if he ever develops that right hand though...

Wes is just a maniac on defense and he's showing some clutchness on offense. Love this kid.

X is like a poor mans. Maggette. He just needs to hit the free throws, but Corey made a career out of driving to get to the line

You don't know Thibs. You could give him a D-League team and he will say that they can win the NBA title

haven't seen anyone defending pau, is this one of those things you made up in your head like you usually do?

He's suppose to be our best player on the roster right now. Stop making excuses for that performance. He's suppose to anchor that starting unit on both ends of the court. some people really need to let go of what pau once was. its been what, 3 yrs now since he's started a steep decline? pau gasol is no longer an offensive anchor, was never a defensive anchor, and the trouble with his knees and feet have made the decline depressingly fast. people hated on MDA last yr and blamed him for pau's poor yr, but may be pau just isn't a star player anymore and people should stop getting disappointed when he sucks.

unfortunately pau is still a big name and carries star status, so its going to be a bit touchy for MDA to try to diminish his role, i don't envy him.

Aki... Is that rhetorical???

KG for Pau? Expiring for expiring? Contract for contract?

We didn't need a three, we were down by 1 when Meeks was put into the point guard role.

Putting players in positions where they aren't successful is bad coaching, period. That's on D'Antoni. Run a play. Don't just put the ball in Meeks hands and expect him to create off the dribble. That almost always comes up empty; Meeks is a good catch and shoot player and he can sometimes get to the rim on the break. Telling him to break down an offense and make plays is putting him in a position to fail.

Just coach. They must practice plays. They're pretty good at inbound plays. They should try to run plays that let players what they do best. That didn't happen. That's on the coach.

A mistake is a mistake. It was a good battle but the ball shouldn't be at Meeks' hands at the top of the key for all those possessions down the stretch. He is not a good ballhandler, he can't create off the dribble, his head is down and doesn't see anybody, etc. Just a mistake by D'Antoni that cost us the game. Not saying he's a terrible coach, he's obviously done well with these guys, but that was a mistake. Run some plays.

Assuming the worst and Jordy misses a few weeks and Nash still isn't ready, we'll need a stopgap point I'd assume. Some names out there?

-Shannon Brown?
-Sasha Vujacic?
-Leandro Barbosa?
-Kendall Marshall?

Yeah, I agree Miles.

I think D'Antoni just lost his head for a little bit, which he hasn't done so far this season. He got caught up in the group that brought us back and got the momentum and he wanted to ride that group regardless, and it backfired those two possessions where Henry and Meeks turned the ball over.

Steve Blake definitely needed to be in the game once it was a new ball game.

I think considering Nash's situation and Farmar's hamstring, we need to sign another guard with these couple days of practices coming up. Barbosa has an NBA out, is he ready?
