I want Waiters on this team. He can get to the rim and score or get to the foul line. I like Shump alot, but if he can land us Waiters it has to be done. Period. We saw what Evans did just going to the rim last night. Waiters can do the same, but also has a decent jumper.

They love Reggie Jackson so I highly doubt that's accurate.

It won't mean sh** if we continue to play a system where players are disencouraged from attacking the basket...

I highly doubt OKC includes Adams, but Chandler to OKC makes sense.

That would be a big win for the knicks if that goes down.....
J.R. Smith's last-second whiff left the Knicks with a sixth straight loss. But J.R. would do it again. "I think we went with the best shot," he said.

I have a lot of trouble believing either of those are true.

Giving out the best C in the deal and not getting a young replacement in return makes sense in your world only.

I was simply saying on paper it makes sense from OKC perspective. By me saying they wouldn't include Adams, I was saying I think they'd draw the line there.

If it came down to that, I imagine that OKC would just walk away. Adams really is the only bright spot of the Harden deal.

They'd walk away from a deal in which they get a player who immediately pushes them into contender status just because of a prospect? You think they are trying to piss off Durant?

The 2nd deal would be an absolute steal for us.

if the knicks trade chandler or melo without attempting to get our pick back they're even dumber then i thought they were. you might as well keep it as is. you don't make lateral moves. you wait till after chandler gets back, and let that teams drag us from horrible to mediocre. at best we sneak into the playoffs, at worst we don't. if you don't give denver a lottery pick, the season wasn't a total loss.

Any trade of Anthony has to bring the Knicks at least 2-3 (real) picks or high upside young players...in some combination...so they can...at least on paper...say they are rebuilding.

Any trade of Chandler has to bring the Knicks a real starting caliber PG that can help them win now.

Chandler to OKC for Perkins & Reggie Jackson

1.) Why for Knicks: Need a PG of the Future
2.) Why for OKC: Chandler is the cure against Miami (See Dallas Series) - He is what they envisioned Perkins would be

Shumpert & Filler to Houston for Asik

1.) Why for Houston - Throw Shumpert on the likes of Curry, Westbrook, Durant, Ellis, Parker
2.) Why for Knicks - Asik is Center of the future

Moving Forward you have the likes of Jackson, Asik, Hardaway Jr and a 2015 Pick for the Knicks - Dark Place my ASS

I don't mind the notion of Chandler to OKC but if so I'd want us to expand the deal so that we get at least 2 maybe 3 young pieces back from OKC.

This deal works.....

Chandler/Shumpert for Perkins/Jackson/Lamb/P-Jones III

Return to New York Knicks
